Tromp’s persona & aura is just infectious…awesome dude.
He’s looking great over in Atlanta
Please please please film more of these how to train like a big leaguer videos. I find it fascinating to watch the training that goes into making each player better.
fr, and some of these im gonna start using
Better than watching the games it's self. This takes me back to when I used to play and hits me to the heart. Love this stuff.
Keep posting stuff like this
As a high school catcher coach, I’d love the opportunity to volunteer for a week and just learn as much from these guys
Why do catchers wear these helmets and masks and why do batters we're hard hats ?
@@jascl8479same material, but catchers wear that because they can get hit in the face with a foul ball, but batters also can get hit in the face
My dream is to be a catcher in the mlb so this helps alot

Same here, working hard everyday and using some of this information

Same here bro I hope we see each other in the big league much love 💯

I don't even like the Giants but the drills that they run here are easy to teach without any kind of explanation from the coach himself. My son loves these drills
I love that Tromp is speaking Spanish for the first 30 secs and talks about it the just comes out with fluent English😃😂
I think the only thing Trump can say in Spanish is Taco Bell.

Glad to have found this series of videos. I love seeing all the progressions and drills. Craig seems like a great one to work with!
I got to work with him at a Texas baseball ranch camp and my lord he is the best catching coach I’ve ever met in my 9 years of playing the position
I am a dodgers fan but thank you so much for posting this. really helps as a young catcher.

Do they never use knee relievers? As a 23 year old construction worker who catches i have to say they have been a blessing.
Nice drill
ay i watched tromp hit a rbi today!
My knees hurts just watching this
I was wondering what “everyone’s favorite mitt” is that you use for netting
Where did you get that training glove @2:00? Im a catcher and can't find where to get one, it looks very useful.
Check all star gloves, most of the trainer gloves came from them
@shane did you ever find the glove?
Does anyone know where to get the web traing mit. Cant find it anywhere
I was wondering the same. Any luck finding it?
I could be wrong but it looks like it’s a normal mit but they did something with the webbing
Veel succes Tromp!
I love this shi
Say it in Dutch
What if you put a little sign on the banner that said ‘Go Team’ on it, would they let you fly it??
let’s go giants
This is great instruction.
GOD BLESS
Where did you get the keyhole net glove
The languages guy is his name now 100% 😂
What is the training mitt with the special pocket called and where can I find it?
1:48 I see my second favorite catcher (behind Buster Posey) frame plyo balls
I’m 14 and staring to get into baseball. I would love to be a catcher but the thought of being in a squat the whole game is making my quads burn
You could always play one knee down with no runner on
im on one knee even with runners on you just gotta work on your pop time @@garrettday3373
La gloria sea de Dios siempre
Does anyone know what that glove they are using at 2:21 is called
Im from aruba💯💯
Where do you get that net keyhole glove. Somebody please help!
Ngl that looks fun
I have a question? So when they were blocking they wernt pushing into there plocks
what is that Mizuno mitt? is that a trainning mitt? I want to buy it. somebody give me a link 😆😆
it only takes one giant to be a giant
El tiempo de Dios son perfecto
We’re did you get that net glove?
Yuhhh
I have a question why do the catchers now have one knee on the ground now? I don't the factor of having a knee on the ground?
I would watch yougopros baseball vid on oneknee down stance. I wouldn't explain here because it would be a paragraph.
what type of glove does tromp have??
Cm3000blk
how do i get a glove with a deep pocket like that
what glove is patty using
Rawlings heart of the hide
What happened to posey?
This is spring training. He wasn't there. He's starter.
Ik begreep je😂
I was confused can someone explain what they meant at 5:10
other team is going to argue balls and strikes so someone on their team is getting thrown out cause hes framing so well
Love the video, but someone please get this man a mask that fits.
is Chad still up or they send him to tripel-A
Hes starting backup catcher behind Buster
What about buster
why is buster posey not there
thats interesting: no runner just practice framing it

The bawdy boy subjectively wish because cotton intriguinly pause after a defiant clutch. near, tall perch
I wish they wouldn't catch from their knees
why
@@willb7279 1. You lose range of motion. 2. Makes it more difficult to throw out runners/block pitches. 3. Makes the shin-guard you wear useless. 4. No where to rest your receiving arm.
@@TheKamikaze104 1.most guys don’t catch from a knee with a runner on base but you can throw pretty much the same. 2. you can reach pretty much the same amount of stufff of a knee 3. you get under the ball so you can frame the low pitch better. 4. you can rest arm on ur knee or you just rest it on the ground and bring it up with the low pitch. 5 there’s so many more benefits from it
@@willb7279 I've seen catchers on their knees with runners on. And there's no way you have the same range of motion from your knees. Try blocking a bad pitch to either side of the plate, you won't get it. If your stance is correct, you can have a low target. I see no real benefit from being on your knees other than it's more comfortable, I also wouldn't want a 90 mph fastball to go right off my thigh. I simply disagree, to me it looks lazy and un-athletic. I teach my catchers that the only time they're on theirs knees is to block and throw the ball back to the pitcher with no runners on.
@@TheKamikaze104 alright go tell that to every catching coach in the big leagues
The freakin masks, while they have to avoid poop and needles to get to the stadium 🤡
The lively cook notably attract because sociology putatively scrape into a neighborly quartz. noiseless, squealing dock
🤦♂️ their framing is awful, framing is not bringing everything back to the center of the plate, the more movement when framing the more obvious it is that it's a ball. The whole point of framing is to give the illusion that a border line ball will be called a strike. This whole knee down is ridiculous man, since when does a pitcher throw a ball rolling into home plate? No wonder they have to resort to back handing a ball when it's not directly in front of them because they have cut their mobility by more than half when putting that knee down. Those blocks are ridiculously bad.
some of the frames by bailey recently that go completely to the center have actually been working, at least from what ive seen but thats just me
REPENT and be BORN AGAIN believing on Messiah Lord Jesus, nothing more important, today is the day of salvation and Jesus can show you the truth, its not blind faith you can see it for yourself if you truly seek like promised. John 3:3 unless a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God / Luke 13:3 unless you repent, you will all likewise perish ⚠️❤️⚠️❤️
