sir dont you think question 1 a was very unclear ? most of my classmates and i thought we had to answer from the 3 species they have listed as they didnt ask for definitions , they asked us to IDENTIFY the SPECIES..
also for c iii , for the p orbital diagram ,the one they have in the marking scheme is for the p orbital Px is actually Py in the book, what i mean is the question asks for Px but the shape in the marking scheme is for Py ..
you should do both paper 1 and 2. and thanks for your efforts really appreciated. It is really hard to find good chemistery 9701 video thanks for providing with videos
Thank you so much! But since ALCL3 Can be either ionic or covalent then I feel it's better we go for "Giant" since it's not possible to have simple ionic and also because Aluminum as a metal is Giant metallic so it'll basically form Giant structures with other element in period 2 or 3 .. Al2O3 for example is Giant ionic! Thank you so much 🥰 though because you explain things so well please do more of papers for P1, P2 and P5.
Just a small correction, in 3B.ii. The repeat unit for the polymer after the double bond you attached CHCH2CH2OH, instead it should be CH2CH2OH because the CH is already drawn
Sir in question two there is no mistake in the marking scheme,I searched about at and they said that Alcl3 has an ionic bonding while Al2cl6 has covalent with a simple structure, and also focus on the point where they said at room temperature
I really hope your channel grows further man. You are extremely underrated, thank you Soo much for taking time off your day and helping a bunch of students
In question 3(a)(i) for the last one to distinguish between D2 and D1 can I use acidified dilute aq KMnO4 since only D2 will get oxidised and turns colourless as it’s a sec alcohol and D1 will not change because tertiary alcohols cannot be oxidised?
sir which is a better reducing agent to answer questions LiAlH4 or NaBH4 which one can be used more often and thankyou so much the videos really helpful
Sir, if I write the absorption range of OH as 3200 to 3600 instead of 3650, will it be ok..besides the syllabus data section has the range listed as 3200 to 3600

same here
I mean they did say that the 3 mentioned were only examples
@@media9755 you're right, but in the diagram they've labelled the axes
@@faisalserang717 but in the next question they did use the 3 species so ..

Al2Cl6 or AlCl3 has both ionic and covalent. But to be safe, just say that it has giant structure (I could be wrong)

was thinking the same
more paper 2 would be great !
Thanks so much! Your maths is impressive ❤, and you’re very sweet..

Thank you so much for all the videos, they have helped my mark so much. :)
Happy to help!
small correction: in Q3 (v), the product is C3H7BrO2.
thank you!
Thank you so much sir but I think you made a mistake in question 3 c v) you forgot the Br atom in the products
Sir plz do biology paper oct /nov 2022
I’ll try!
For Q3c) iv) isn't the bromine added to the central carbon because the methyl group will have a positive inductive effect?
Thank you so much , I appreciate you a lot
You are so welcome ❤️
Thank you sooo much for this! Also you sound like Abed from Community
Sir please solve A2 physics OCT/NOV 2022 components
Uploading soon!
Jeez, the marking scheme can be wrong? How often does this happen?
Hey
In the last question, cant we add k2cr2o7 directly to the aldehyde to change it to carboxylic acid, instead of changing it to alcohal first?
21:20 sir can the dimers be opposite like how you did it but reverse?
Thank youu soo much sir. please do more of paper 5🙏🙏
I will try my best
Thank youuu@@CAIEPapersSolved
sir try screening lesser adds...plss..🙃
Will you upload more Chemistry AS P2 papers?
Yes! Uploaded fm 2023 paper 2. Will be uploading more soon :)
@@CAIEPapersSolved Tomorrow's my chemistry p1 mock. Your videos helped me a lot. God bless you!!!
Can we reduce aldehydes by LiAlH4 instead of NaBH4
Yes ofcourse! Both work.
we want more paper2 content.
Hello sir, why does Nacl reaction dont have H2o in questions 2?. Thanks
table salt dissolves in water

You’ll get marks. It’s fine
please do more paper 2's
sure!
More paper 2 please.
