We grew up side by side, Shirley. I was 25 in 1995. I am Steve's age now. I am thinking of growing a beard just like him. Fuck it if its grey like his :)
@@citizenbobx - - - Garbage is not a "family" so patriarchy does not apply here. You may be implying that "men" in the band are sexist against Shirley and I don't think that is the case. My original comment is about what I think is a deteriorating performance standard for what is supposed to be the singing part of the performance of the band. Neil Diamond later in his performance arc over the years did the same thing - from singing the songs straight in the early years, to "grunting and growling and reading the lyrics instead of singing them in their original format." I'm not claiming Shirley can't sing any more, but that what she is doing just doesn't compare to the performances I'm imprinted-on from earlier performances. I can't explain the reason for the change in the performance of the vocals, but they have changed. I'm simply disappointed because I really enjoy the 90's way she sings and am thankful that RUclips still plays the same old original performances like the studio versions for example of "Vow" and "Paranoid" and the Glastonbury and Rockpalast (? spell) concerts from the 90's. I used to think going to a live Garbage concert would be something to look forward to, but not now. I don't want to go to the Shirley fashion/political/social justice/cultural critic concert. I still think Shirley has the "goods" and can perform - if she wanted to.
Oh my gosh thank you so very much for posting this I was so sad cuz I didn’t record this and I thought what she said was so beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Garbage maybe old but they are definitely not obsolete!!
Never..❤😢😊😊

I think this is the sweeter version of When I Grow Up

Our gray hair is our badge that we did it and lived to tell about it. Whatever "it" was. :)
05:30 😍
Can we get a Garbage movie starring Karen Gillan?!
Vocal sounds so out of sync, strange.
This was painful to watch. At least the men in the band stayed on script and played well. Come on Shirley - WTF?
You mean 'the patriarchy'?)
This whole tour she's totally half assing her vocals. It's sheer laziness and it's disappointing as fuck.

@@DayVid2.0 Lmao I don’t know what you’re listing to then. If there’s one thing Shirley doesn’t do it’s half ass anything
Yes, it was definitely substandard vocals on this tour which was a shame.
What the actual F. Refund!
