This is actually looking pretty good. Im glad they have lots of difficulties. Low floor and high ceiling is how this kind of content should be designed.
You can auto through the ultimate form and then manual the forms you wanna to trials for, makes for nice content that doesn’t take too much time but still requires engagement to get the best rewards. I think they did amazing with the new CB honestly

Why on earth do you think this is going to take 30 minutes on average, when Nubs is doing a slower play through as this is the first time doing this, plus going that slow was 12 minutes and the Chimera already went through a third of its turns? 😂

Really glad I got Alatreon BM a while back. I know not a lot of people thought he was super good for a while, but he's going to be amazing for this fight along with a protection Mikage! Really cool boss, think it will be a pretty big W.

think freyja might be pretty good for this boss. massive shield to help staying alive, cleanse with block debuffs, TM boost & that passive that keeps your damage dealer alive on a fatal hit & gives them an instant turn. i already use one of mine for NM hydra so she's already in 9 piece protection
Yea I built mine in protection just yesterday in preparation for this.
Doesn’t seem that bad to just beat once people start figuring him out, but the trials seem extremely hard to do.

I'm positively surpised.
Vast range of difficulties (just worry that the mechanics staying the same could suck)
Lot's of complex stuff to do, but only a certain level of it "forced" to get the chests - everything else is "bonus loot" from trials and how to get them
Very low RNG, especially compared to hydra. You know which form comes next, theres only 1 form, 1 enemy, 1 set of skills at the same time. No cleanse into mischief devour into poison cloud into shield shenanigans.
Atleast from this brief look, it seems that they put a lot of thought and gamedesign work into this one.
Riho Bonespear could also be insane for this
Dude you literally threw a full auto team on day 1 and got fairly close to max chest on max difficulty. Imagine what krakens can do then. I can smell the "trunda clash" experience already

I mean top chest on max difficulty isn’t considered end game anymore. We now have three layers. Getting max chest for clash and getting max chest every week for personellste rewards.
He didnt even get to the second highest chest, plus he's a whale thats been playing for like 4 years, what are you expecting? Sounds like you were planning to complain regardless the amount of dmg he did. Then if he could barely do any dmg, you'd cry that the content is too hard.
And what do you expect. Money always gets you further because you can do more. it will always be that way. But Trunda Clash is something diffrent.Trunda Clash is one specific stategie with a very spefic set of champions that dominates in a way that no one can even get near. If we have just krakens that get a lot more damge but with various stategies, than it is far awy from trunda clash.

You might look into the epic champ Sanguinia. She not only brings block debuffs but also has a chance of transfering debuffs towards an enemy.
Alatreon blademaster is so overpowered for this boss, his protected block debuffs counters like half the bosses 20 skills.

It's a Lil crazy how they added another cb to push you to do more hydra so you can get the gear to compete in the new cb!!!
Typical plarium, why improve hydra when you can force people to do it so they can compete in the new boss?
Firrol from sylvan watchers seems like a great champ for this clan boss
the shards from the TOP chest are 1-2 for the mythical. if you get extremely lucky you will be getting him after 1 year and if you get moderately lucky you can expect him after a year and a half to 2 years... that doesnt exactly seem great imo.
4 chests per week, even with only 1 each chest would mean that you get him in 25 weeks. Not a year. If this is like Mithrala, then you get a guaranteed fragment per difficulty chest.
Nubs is Toyotomi Hideyoshi incarnated, look how he analyzing and dissecting every move make.
As I 've said in a couple videos at the beginning of this, if resistance teams are a thing, Mathias is going to be very interesting

9 piece Protection set is going to be a challenge for some. You need a lot of luck to get the accessories in the right faction (for your block debuffs champion) and in the right kind of accessory. You can only get those from Hydra Clash, and up until recently it was very easy to not get any accessories most weeks (due to no chests for 4th or 5th place clans).
So in best case it takes at least a year to get the mythical champ?

It always seems like Oella is an underrated option for these bosses. Decrease speed on her A1, good healer, one of the biggest TM boosts in the game, extends buffs, and brings Increase RES. I really need to book her out sometime.
On another note, do we know the accuracy stats for the boss yet?
I just built her and finished her masteries a month ago!
You're absolutely right. She doesn't get the credit she deserves. Such a good champion. Plus buff extension is going to be key for this fight if you plan to go with the protected buff strategy
And as always, if you have double or even triple Taras and one Marichka, you win instantly.

Sounds like you need to do one run for damage and one for trials
I have been building a lot of champs in 9 piece protection lately. I think it's really going to help. My plan is to run duchess, krisk, mikage, and demytha all in 9 piece protection with michinaki in a full damage build. I am hoping that with 3 buff extenders I will eventually have all buffs protected and extended so they never fall off. And also hoping mikage and michinaki are enough damage to 1 key. We will see how it goes

Clanfather with his new buff and 9pc protection should be really good for this.

Even before this boss was announced I had my Python, Padraig, Mithrala, and Visix all in 9-piece protection and the slowest of them is Visix at 280 spd. Looks like I accidentally had support champs prepared for this content.
Awesome! Me too! I have been building lots of champs in 9 piece protection lately for hydra. I think I am goign to roll duchess, mikage, krisk, and demytha all in 9 piece protection. And the only one I will have to regear is krisk. Hoping all the buff extension will keep my protected buffs up indefinitely.
Long time before can try UNM, you will likely have to kill the lower difficulty before attack the higher as with the normal clan boss.
So, as i see it, a good old shield stacking team with lots of poisons and/or burns qith all protected buffs should give us at least the top chests on lower difficulties without any problems...
Wixwell, Brogni and co. would be a nice combo for this. Just stack the shields, get 3 of your protected buffs (shield, block dwbuffs buff, increase defense) and we at least can survive the lower difficulties...
Pheidi seems insane for this....
Seems Alatreon might be good here as well in full protection

25:30 It makes no sense the boss gets a bonus after we’ve completed a trial. That bonus should go towards us .
Looks like if you don't care about trials, you could do a block damage team? You might accidentally get one or two trials done, but as long as it's under 4, it doesn't ignore block damage - you'd need to be able to stop it from being stolen, though, but it looks like high resistance works fine.
Is there a great hall section for this boss?

My understanding about these boss is you need tanky team.you need artak for hp burn.krisk(thank god i have him) also protection set

We don't know what the rewards for the Chimera Clash are.. maybe it will drop from there? i mean from the hydra clash chest, we get mythical books.. so it could also drop from the Chimera clash chest... i hope so!
@dasuniversum5875 True but even if you can get them from clash it will likely only be those quartz and you clan would have to place top 3 to even get them if they follow the same way as hydra. So it's still bad. Considering how demon clan boss is the only place you can get shards still to this day it's bad that they haven't given us another source to get them.
This is a lot better than I thought. The wall of text doesn't actually mean much once you have the right team comp. Is this actually a success? We will have to see how cancerous clash is lol.
What if the strat is make an unkillable team while ignoring trials. Idk what the trials give you other than relics

This is the real reason they nerfed everyone in hydra so bad. Make it much harder to get good protection gear.

looks like you basically have to cheat with fraction unity champions ex: herakletes\vulkanos or to use strong pairings like marichka and double taras and finish the comp with mythicals. Also interesting if harima's + mikage can be good since boss is ignoring some def.

unless you can buy more keys with gems you wont be getting to ultra nightmare until at least week 3 since you probably have to do the lower difficulties first like with demon lord and hydra
I think, you can do more damage by not doing the Trials or get more rewards from them but deal less damage

normal and hard double chest will take 25 weeks, so 6 months
@joaocabrita9404 So at best we are getting 8 shards a week? At the worst it's 4 shards a week and if we cant get two different chests its 2 shards a week. Well that's a drag...

Rewards seem really poor. Maybe shards swap in when you get the mythical fragments? Or more likely... they will give shards in the clash -.-

How much money would we have if we had a nickel every time Nubs said "protection"? It would be a few bucks at least... I'm not looking forward to this content if it ends up being dependent on a single gear set.
Not looking forward to this.. seems unless you already have a full army of legos with certain active skills you might as well not bother.
That’s what end game content is meant to be. New players already have every other area to progress through.

If you’re 4 years in and not prepared to take this on, you’re either playing infrequently and not end-game or you don’t understand mechanics. Bronko has already shown how to easily get max chests in Chimera. If you have a 4 year roster, you have the champions to fight and beat this boss, you’re just being difficult and oppositional. If you try it and don’t like the content, that’s fair.
In 3 years playing I have not gotten coldheart. Also if you think I am the problem, the hh optimizer do not give me even 1 team to do 1 key for maximum chest on the og clan boss. Now say what you were saying.
@@S0cialCrisis As a low spender, how many legos do you think I should have after 4 years? would you be surpirsed If I told you I only have around 60 legos and a player power of 8 million? Yeah I'm at end game for dungeons hard 10, clan boss 1 key 200m hydra 1b.. but like I said I'm not looking forward to another content release restricted by abilities / factions / awaken levels.. it's just not something I will enjoy, struggled with sand devil and phantom until the nerf.. but we'll see.

Yeah because 99% of player base has 10 mythicals and most op champs , lets be excited for boss fight that even most op champs in strongest of gears cant get final chest ? F O ! and fu Raid . Getting sick of CC's hyping up trash content that is obviously made for whales while all community champs suffer and nothing is fixed in game, just importing new "toys"
