I am excited for the Treasure Rush mode. The changes for this season are pretty good. The UI changes are definitely going to be REALLY helpful in the long run. No need to click on the Season Pass to see Days Remaining. Also, being able to buy almost any cosmetic is good. Will it be pricey? This is Gameloft, of course it is going to be pricey. I am looking forward to the Frozen Tournament, been preparing for it lately during Season 8... but then we have Oswald The Lucky Rabbit being the other one. SERIOUSLY?! I don't have Ortensia and Oswald. I hope they make these two easier to unlock in Season 9. Poor Tia Dalma, we got another Mute Racer.
I HOPE we get lots of Oswald and Ortensia shards because those events were awful. Also, Kermit will be added to Racer Boost, so I'm really looking forward to that!

I would love for Treasure Rush to have difficulty levels implemented. Beginner (LV: 1-15), Intermediate (LV: 16-30), Advanced (LV: 31-50). Then depending on what difficulty you selected; YOUR racers of that difficultys' level will only be playable. Even a Regulated Mode but with maybe keeping Crew Members opposed to the current Regulated Mode would be cool.
One question I have with the duplicates is what about the shards during ranked multiplayer. I have Randall at rank 34 there, Meg at rank 17, Jack and Elizabeth at rank 16, Donald at rank 9 and King Triton at 27. (I have all of those mains maxed out except Triton who I need two more shards for before I get him up to level 50) I also am curious about treasure rush and am glad that Davy Jones, Barbossa and Will have voice lines. (Davy might be voiced by Robin Atkin Downes instead of Bill Nighy while Barbossa and Will have different voice actors too) I'm also not really that disappointed about Tia Dalma being mute since I wasn't anticipating her as much as the other three.
I can't wait to see how Davy Jones Sounds in this game I was extremely worried that he wouldn't get a voice but I hope that Bill Nighy or someone that's an amazing Davy Jones Impersonator can voice this legendary character and to be honest Davy Jones was a character I never thought would ever show up in this game because of how complex his design is. So now I'm interested with who would show up in the future I have an extremely high chance that Zootopia will appear now cause of Zootopia 2 finally announced and when Incredibles gets in Disney Speedstorm please put Syndrome in the game and get Jason Lee to reprise his role as Syndrome.
So excited for the Treasure events and the customizations. Hopefully, they add all of the Livery Karts and make them permanent. I'm still missing so many 😅
The new mode is cool but really season coins feel useless after a while. I still think they should split the universal box up into two different ones. One box for characters and on box for crew members. As well as add the mid season characters in the universal box so its actually universal. All the universal box is right now is a big lie. I been getting nothing but dup shards for the same characters. Like the odds of getting Bo peep every time just was annoying.
I honestly love every single part of this update! I think the Treasure Rush mode gives off Mariokart Coin Runner vibes. Now also being able to BUY cosmetics DIRECTLY from the customization menu is crazy! However, my question is.. What will be the currency used to buy these items? Is it gonna be Multiplayer Tokens? Regular Tokens? Both? All in all, this update is exciting and I cannot wait to get started!

why do you have to play world tour with races 20 levels above the minimum always finish first with 0 challenge to grind all the loot . They should fix that 0 fun 0 challenge just boring and time consuming.

Brawlers not being able to dash stun in S8 is dumb. They took away what was unique for that class.

player rank stays the way how it ends, think the mpr return a couple of levels 2 to 3 at max

It is a pleasant surprise to see pretty much every racer get a voice over. The name game mide is great snd its better veing offline.

If you want to scroll lower on the character collection screen you need to not use a controller. I can get to the bottom on mobile (iPhone).
