I hope you watch it now. Gintama is the most unique anime ever made. It also teach us to appreciate very little thing that happen in our life in order to live life. People often take it for granted. Only miss it when they lose it. At least, that's what it teached me
@@taqwadynamic I am really lucky to find this show. Even though it's top 3/4 on MAL, nobody ever talks about it. I just heard the Doraemon song and thought well, this is my next show even tho back then I didn't realise it was rated high
@@sirus6167 This show change my life too. I found this show when I was 15 years old. Teenager do stupid thing, even I do stupid things too. I do have friends at school but I it feels superficial. And I also had a hard times dealing with my life at the time. I lost my father and my mother is sick. I don't have time to hang out with my friends because I had to take care of my sick mother. At that times, I feel like its unfair, why did this happen to me. And then I watch Gintama. I remember the scene when Gintoki speak with Umibouzu after they beat the alien. And Umibouzu wants to take Kagura back. And Gintoki indirectly tell Kagura to go back to her father. I don't remember the exact words but it sounds like "Its always the people who don't have a parents who understands how precious the bonds between family". It makes me cry. Because even if I lost father, I still have my mother and she needs me. And after that I try to treat my mother with patience. And it makes me notice things about my mother when before I didn't even look at my mother properly. And it also teach me to take responsibility in every action I take no matter how small or big it is. Sometimes it start small but it will get big if it doesn't settle as soon as possible. Gintama makes me who I am today. Even if people tells me that it's only an anime, but it teach me more about dealing with life than at school or the people surround me.
