I'd say it's a homage to the post ZZ generation gundams be it the Nu or the Hi Nu. And there's also quite a heavy nod to 00, as those are Bits and not Fin Funnels. Do i need to mention the green glow and the lack of red on the suit? It's really cool. I just don't like the curved lower leg armor.
