@@ScandinavianDesign101 I've shared this video with my students and colleagues at the architecture school where I teach, (firstly, I hope you don't mind?). The Scandinavian designers were on the whole much subtler and gentler than the hardcore architectural 'Gods' of the 20th century (who got their girlfriends to do all the donkey work anyway), but remain relatively unknown except for inside Taschen's '1000 Chairs'. Oddly, I think there is a lot to be learnt from the listings of eBay, because I suppose people who bought and were given this furniture when they got married when it was new, are now leaving it for their families to dispose of. I think your little explanations are a very valuable insight into what in England is still a relatively little known design 'school', I especially enjoy the little explorations of contracts, double dealing and copyright breaches which will probably come as a bit of a surprise to my students ! thanks, Colin

PK91 looks like Kaare Klint's propeller stool. Also I found an article @ danishdesignreview stating that the propeller stool started as a drawing from one of Kaare Klint's students. However the Carl Hansen website gives all the credit for the design to Kaare Klint. Thoughts on its origin? Thanks and love this channel!!

Hello! Well, it’s a fact that quite a few of the “Kaare Klint desiges” were made by students. Guess the propeller was a project initiated by Klint but executed by his students. And Kjærholm was highly inspired by Klint, Breuer and a lot of other predecessors. It’s a bit like the furniture said to be works by George Nelson. He didn’t design classics like the Marshmallow sofa or the Coconut chair but they are still today attributed to him.

just curious if you have any ideas on where to get a used PK9 chair for $1000 - $2000 like you said in your video. I have never seen them for that price
