Star Fox feels like a series Nintendo doesn't wanna tamper with because it has the F-Zero effect where they just don't know what to do with it. Given how Star Fox Zero was basically just Star Fox (SNES) and Star Fox 64
Amazing retrospect on the original titles. It's awesome to see this series get more recognition of any kind. Especially by quality content creators like yourself

Nice, Croc next! Very fond memories of the games, even though they didn't age too well with their tank controls.

I learned a long time ago that quality doesn't necessitate popularity. Much in the way that something being well-known doesn't mean it's good, something being well-made doesn't mean it'll be known. Thanks, though.

I emulated Starfox on Bsnes HD, overclocked it as much as possible, and it wasn't anywhere near as excessively fast as shown. It seems more like the person you took the gameplay from just sped up the whole thing. This is still a fun video obviously, I just thought I'd give my take on that.

According to the uploader, the game was played with bsnes and overclocked by 800%. There's no mention of any artificial speed increasing, nor did I tamper with it during editing. The audio also sounds natural with no distortion. With that, we can assume that it's, at the very least, legitimately overclocked.

Actually alien resurrection on the ps1 had modern fps controls before halo

Very true. Only, at the time, it was heavily criticized for its unnatural feeling. Also, unlike Halo, Alien Resurrection wouldn't go on to sell millions of copies and influence the industry as a whole.
