I can't help but wonder if he said no because she hesitated slightly and he finally realised there was something significant between her and Amaar. Very surprising ending. I liked JJ even though he was wishy washy with decisions.
She hesitated more than slightly. And yes, I agree that was the sign that brought it all together for him, even if he may not have been conscious of it or why. I don't think it was directly about Amaar though. Just that something was off for her and she wasn't, and hadn't ever been, fully in.
His response looked more like he was hoping that she would not say yes so that he would not have to. There was literally a whole episode about him waiting for others to make decisions for him.
Salaams or Peace, I watch Little Mosque all of the time. As a matter of fact I've watched 10 to 15 episodes today alone. Which was too much even for me; but it was a relaxing day for me, and the show helps me relax. I think that I would enjoy it even better if it didn't have so much music, which for me is not proper. I would have more sounds effects and nature sounds. That way I would enjoy the shows even more; because for now I turn down the sound every few minutes to avoid the music. Other than that, the show is great. Although, I wouldn't recommend watching that many shows in one day. I would prefer a more balanced day with worship, family, work and relaxing all in one.
This Imam makes this series more and more unbelievable islamically. FIrst he was making "halal-halloween" and now he is allowing only one woman as a witness of marriage (islamically in case of witnesses of marriage or in finances there should be or 2 men or 1 man and 2 women)
The most annoying part to me is the fact that he IS in love with a girl and he doesn't propose And he spends so much time with her as a friend with lots of eye contacts! To me as a Muslim this is a big no no! Even more none sense is the fact that he doesn't have ANY Muslim friend among the boys of his own age.

The first episode makes he clear that he is from Toronto, very far away from this fictional small town. And a later episode notes that did know someone named Ali. As for the rest of the complaints... you guys know that Canadian Muslims in the minority are simply not going to be the same as your average Iranian Muslim?
I watched this show 7years ago and I still enjoy each episode of it..
Same.
I was so chuffed when Amaar said his iconic: "I am the Imam!" ;D
"Any man who must say 'I am the Imam' is no true Imam."
I made an edit of yhay
This is one of the best episodes
You know, Rayyan didn't ever really listen to JJ or what he wanted. "the right way," was "Rayyan's way."

I anticipated this would happen but i didn't expect it happened during the wedding
I was expecting at least ammar to like confess or something that would stop the wedding not for jj to say no...doesn't make sense this episode

Sakeenah Moulden 10-15 episodes wow
i also feel the same. maybe because many of us muslims think that our lifestyle as muslims should be more serious than exciting or fun.
