You guys & gals are crushing it in the innovation department! I've been using quite a few of your products since I returned to brewing this past fall after an 18+ year hiatus. I have been so impressed with your products that my brewery is starting to look like a KegLand commercial set 😂
Hey Scott. Thanks for that. We really appreciate it. We enjoy what we do and it's a pretty awesome job to to be thinking of new keg dispensing kit every day so I can't complain.
Couldn’t agree more. Those new duo tight disconnects are great (until you have to remove the beer line! ). Replaced everything in my set up with them. The beer line cleaner that screws onto a bottle is really neat. So quick to just run some starsan or whatever through a line. And the beer line tidy things. I could go on!
Yes that is a good point. We forgot to mention that if you use this device you really want to reduce your beer line length otherwise you would have double resistance from your beer line and also from this device. I dont think I explained that in enough detail but sounds like you worked it out.
Can't wait for these to show up at my distributor. Everyone seems to complain about the old stainless steel old version, I love it but only have one. Hype for these new ones so I can finally have one on each tap.
Yes we will get these into Canada shortly. We already have some orders to Canada so check with your local KegLand distributor and they can give you lead times.

Thanks Kee! Ordered 4. I have an old set of Perlicks, and this will simplify things immensely. Might need to get some new taps with less meat in them now though so the first pour from the kegerator is closer to spot on..

Excellent and looking forward to the new releases as I already picked up 8 pairs of your new red and yellow pushfit ball lock disconnects which I'm liking a lot. Are the flow control ones as easy to clean as the regular disconnects?
You need a phillips head screw driver to take out one screw. Then you can take apart the disconnect with your hands. Unfortunately we were unable to make it completely tool-less dissasembly but at least most people have a phillips head screw driver.
@@KegLand I figured it was but just checking ahead of time. And you are right, everyone should own a Phillips head screwdriver which is really easy compared to some of the SS types requiring large grip pliers to twist apart. Just after i re-build the kegerator to 6.35 x 3mm line... :-( Obviously these will be awesome for mini kegs but look forward to seeing people's experience with kegerators.
These look great! Thinking of going for the FC Disconnects with the normal Nukataps for my keezer build. Do these Disconnects offer the option to dial down the restriction to the same level as the non FC ones?
Yes you can get a lot of restriction with these FC ball lock disconnects. In fact you can get so much restriction you can almost turn the flow completely off. For this reason it's best to use larger internal beer line such as the 5mm ID and you only need about 1 meter with these disconnects and then leave all the flow control upto the disconnect.
Thanks vor the reply! Can i also limit the amount of restriction in the other direction so that they have the same restriction as the non flow control ball lock disconnects? I thought about using them with my 4mm Eva tubing to fine tune the flow when switching beers and carbonation levels.

EDIT: I just watched the video again and I noticed, that you mentioned that the beer line has to be pushed deep into the duo tight. The thing is that I pluged a reduction straight into duo tight (from 8mm to 6mm), it was very hard to push it in and also nearly impossible to pull it out. Maybe the reduction was the problem, because I am not sure that it was long enough (the male part of the reduction) to be plugged to the bottom (where the marker is on the ball lock). That sounds really strange. I have never heard of this before. Did you freeze the keg and then now it's defrosted. This can cause beer to go watery.
@@KegLand my beer is never frozen ,it's in kegerator, I'm not sure what's the science is ,but the beer taste a lot different when switching between 2 type of ballock.
If you had a USA based store like your Australian store you would be huge. And it sure makes it hard to buy at the retarded prices we see. I can buy SS parts for what it cost for kegland in the states.
Have you tried www.williamsbrewing.com and www.morebeer.com. These guys are normally really good with our gear and they move quite a lot of our products in USA.
@@KegLand Its June and its still cheaper to buy a SS flow control ball lock in the states then the new ones
yikes, not many fans of duotights out there
Do you mean the brand specifically or push-fits in general? I'm exclusively using push-fit fittings, mostly John-Guest, but some Duo-Tight as well. Gas and beer sides. Huge fan.
From what I undertand 99% of our customers love them and we have a very small number who have made a warranty claim. Of those warranty claims most of these seem to be misuse so I think we need to educate our customres better so even this 1% can get a better experience. If you let us know what exact issue you have had though I am sure we can assist you better.
Not sure which planet you are from, but in my world the duotight are fantastic. Not one of my brewing friends have even remotely had a bad thing to say about them. Quite the opposite really. I hear nothing but raves. We do, however, follow the recommendations and cut our lines square and discard a couple centimeters when they show signs of abrasion.
Did the mini-tap ever come out?
Yes we are almost finished this one. The mini tap should be finished in a few months from now.
