    We say in Japan that you cannot judge the fruit tree until the 4th year of actual harvest.
    I am sure, in time, that your Shanxi Li will be sweeter and juicier, with larger fruits.
    I have just bought a Panzao jujube, which is said to be a bud mutation of Li.

      I hope so that it gets better. I do prefer the juicy and firm flesh in jujubes. Not a fan of the spongy/styrofoam texture. I hope to add Panzoa in the future as well. I added Chico and will be adding Russian 2, Coco and Autumn Beauty this fall.

    Excellent video. Jujube tree is costly

      Yes they are indeed expensive, especially around my area in North East Texas.
