- The marriage between Paul and Anita Okoye is back in the spotlight again, as fresh evidence of why Anita is seeking divorce emerges online. On July 1, 2022, a copy of the Mother-of-3 divorce petition filed under an Abuja High Court revealed that Paul, one-half of reunited Pop Duo, Psquare was a serial cheat during their seven years of marriage that produced three beautiful children. The 33-year-old lawyer, who is now a citizen of St Kitts and Nevis, alleged that her music superstar husband was in the habit of keeping side chics and went as far as sleeping with one of their housemaids. But when she confronted the “Reason with me”, crooner threw her out of their Lagos Home.
Reports of the university sweetheart going their separate ways after being together for 17 years first went viral in April of 2021 when Anita moved to the US with all her kids, who were born US citizens, under the guise of taking another Master’s program. But on August 20 2021, the separation of the once strong, famous and adorable celebrity couple became official after documents of Anita’s divorce petition leaked and went viral. The supermom alleged she no longer shared a conjugal relationship with Rudeboy of Psquare, who had denied her any form of companionship, and their marriage was irretrievably broken because of a lack of love and compatibility.
At the time when this breakup trended on social media, Anita had refused to make any comment. Still, Paul in an exclusive interview with Do2tun, said his family problems are nobody’s business, and he wished his estranged wife had kept mute about their private affair. Subsequently, the mother-of-2 was captured hanging out with her husband’s brother and wife, Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo, and the general notion was they were convincing her to forgive her husband.
But it looks like Anita is not backing down on her decision as she has provided shocking proof to the court on why their marriage should be dissolved immediately.
What are these proofs? Are they reasonable grounds for a divorce?

I really hate to hear all of this. I am a die hard PSQUARE fan and I was so happy they reunited and all seemed well until this bad news. I pray it works out best for all involved especially the kids.

It’s really sad for both parents and harder for their children to heard that bad history about their father, but Anita should think and forgiveness her husband specific when children including but we’re should pray for both . If me I will kick the housemaid out in my husband house to see the reaction of him if he’ll follow that girl ; that’s really hurtful to saying ur husband sleeping with housemaid specially when she knows her husband career could be affected by that issue sometimes family and friends encouraged one’s to acting this way for her own interests by the way Anita should really thinking about her 3 children will grow up soon for that embarrassment on society,,, prayers..,,

All this accusations you people are laying on Paul head is unfair. How can you listen to news on social media and believe it, how sure are you what happened between the two couples. Am hundred percent sure all this news people are showcasing on social media most of them are lies, and you will wake up listen and watch a video in media that you’re not sure of and start laying accusations on someone; if they accuse you like that would you like it. Another person family issues that you’re not sure of, and how sure Anita is, did she catch him or people told her he slept with maid what’s her evidence if only or if possible this news are truth. Now let me ask you; how many times have you had issues with your wife or your family members and start showcasing it out on social media or bringing it out for peoples hearings. You and I know that Paul is not that kind person, when he has issues with his brother when p square break up , he never talk anything that transpired between them, he never talk about that…. I have watched almost all his interviews he never talk about that cause is family issues that shows wisdom and maturity and that is why I like him, he get sense pass all his brother both Peter and Jude.

If this is true it's sad. I say sad becuse later in life is when reality will set in. Family is the most priceless gift God gave man. And so must be guarded jealousy, and responsibly. The wise never expose their family life. Without mentioning names. There are so many rich and famous whose family life are kept away from public view and are doing so well. Such people know b4 fame is family cos one day the fame won't be as it was and its family one has left. Family is so key. I speak to the young people. Family is the greatest security system God blessed us with. Guard it with everything you have. The blessing in it far outweigh the minor resolvable difference that show up. These differences can easily be managed.

You can never be looking for what you never lost.... this is a raw evidence of man's frustration in trying to find what he lost. My friend there is a Good news. what we lost have been brought back by the Anointed King (Jesus). Man was giving a Kingdom from the beginning (Genesis 1:26). He lost the Kingdom (Genesis 3) and in the same Chapter a promise was made to bring back the Kingdom. Mathew 4:17 announced the return of the Kingdom by the King. Today we are enjoying the kingdom impact through the Governor (Holy Spirit)...Luke 17:20-21. Do you want to become a Citizen of the Kingdom? Easy Easy Easy.... You just have to be born into it..... Accept the King (Jesus) as your Owner and you will become an Automatic citizen. Luke 12:15.
