How I do it: put 2 room temp water bottles in the freezer ( just in case) for 2 hours or more(depending on the temp of freezer) wait till 1 hour or 2 then you should check the water bottles (if the water already turned into ice, you probably waited to long) carefully it it up and smack it on your hand (when you smack it, and it doesn't turn into ice, you should wait just a bit more and check it again)carefully cut the tip of the water bottles(unless you can take the cap off) drain the water and cut it more so the hole is big enought to let the soft ice out put in a big cup or bowl and enjoy it! (It will melt into water, and the texture might disappear) I hope this helped if you read this cuz it took me a bit long Have a good day and watch out for the winter storm for people who know what I mean.
