No, LV won't tell you if a bag is real or not. If you wanna know if it's real or not, you go to an LV shop and ask them to have your bag repaired. If the bag is fake, they would say the bag is not from us, but they would not authenticate the bag for you.

The handles and piping of the bag I purchased don't appear to be made of Cowhide, but some sort of plastic instead. Is this cause for concern? I just bought my first LV tonight & I KNOW it's a fake. I bought it for $100 from my aunt who just got back from the Philippines with an entire suitcase full of LVs, lol. You are buying items from china so sometimes they take a couple weeks to reach you, sometimes up to a month. But you can't beat the price! The cut off lv is not true I have a montsouris gm and And lv Houston galleria has worked on it several time it have cut off lvs so some of this info is not accurate and well as stitching it a hand made bag stitching is not gonna be perfect but not sloppy either and will have a slight slant to each stitch

Exactly. 99% of people can't tell even with BAD fakes. Hell, even people who DO have real LVs probably couldn't spot a good fake. The only people who could are OCD purse connoisseurs, and they're few & far between. My replica is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing, the only reason *I* know its fake cause I only paid $100 for it from my Filipino aunt, lol. Doesn't bother me one bit!
I was downtown Los Angeles shopping in the Garment Alley district, and the fakes were nice. Of course I knew they were fake; this guy was selling them for 30 to 60 buck. He mention to the people they were knock offs; I didn't purchase one, he was say to the customers

Bought the girlfriend a LV bag for our 25 year anniversary but I'm concerned about its authenticity. I was watching your video and everything seemed fine right up until step 3 - material. The handles and piping of the bag I purchased don't appear to be made of Cowhide, but some sort of plastic instead. Is this cause for concern? Does LV ever release bags with plastic in lieu of Cowhide?

I just bought my first LV tonight & I KNOW it's a fake. I bought it for $100 from my aunt who just got back from the Philippines with an entire suitcase full of LVs, lol. I really don't care if its fake honestly, it *looks* real & I'm not about to pay $1000+ for a PURSE. It's got real leather handles, red trim, a serial number, a stamp, yellow stitching, and a care card insert. Granted, the care instructions were in comically misspelled Engrish, but still. The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. I wanted to know which designer bag was truly worth my hard-earned money and one that I would get the most out of. Well, when you just handle and see them up close it's different than ,say, have them for many years. Those fakes will fall apart within months and practically you will end up paying more when you buy fakes than when you have the real one that last for a very long time.

Look up ioffer or aliexpress. I don't know much about aliexpress but think its about the same. I use ioffer all the time and have great luck. You are buying items from china so sometimes they take a couple weeks to reach you, sometimes up to a month. But you can't beat the price! Most of them when you go to pay, hit the credit card thing and it'll let you use paypal. I wouldn't give someone in china my credit card info.. haha.

LV bags are expensive because of the materials that are used, I think that LV bags are really pretty, some of them, not all because they're some bags with strange looking that I really don't prefer but m opinion is that fake things are not correct, I know that LV brand is expensive but not because of that you have to buy a fake product, they are a lot of beautiful bags and purses that are not as expensive as LV and other brands but they're real.
