Amen. Hesitation Marks is his best album post-Fragile, if you ask me. It really grew on me over time. Since Hesitation Marks, I've found his work to be very hit or miss. I'm hoping for another full album that can bring me back to NIN.

i actually really liked ghosts I-IV and not the actual events i even enjoyed HM a little bit copy of a copy was good and im probably the only one who really loved all the how to destroy angels albums. cause i never here anyone talk about them.
The Fragile has always been an uplifting listen for me. It marks a sort of rediscovery of appreciation and will to live when coming out of a state of limbo.

@@Chi_95 I figured that's the point. It pops up out of nowhere with this very happy sounding attitude (and it's not even that happy to begin with if you read into it) compared to the other moody songs added to its enjoyment, at least it did for me.

Man... Hesitation Marks has a lot of bangers and deep songs. Only dislike Running, Disappointed and well Black Noise is what it is. But man, Various Methods of Escape is like slowly going to another dimension along with Find My Way. Stretch across the skyyyy! Oooooh, ooh!

As someone who's only listened to Downward Spiral, The Fragile, and Add Violence, I can tell you this is accurate.
