I so love the smell of horses too, Catherine! Their hair, their sweat and breath, the leather of saddles and bridles and rope, and even their poo once it’s weathered a day or so. It just invigorates my soul. I can catch a waft of it on the breeze driving along on a road and I start looking for them. It’s just SO good.
I love the little red calf , you should name him “ Dexter” so you’ll always remember their breed and name the black one “ Ireland “ so you’ll always remember where their breed comes from ! I love them Catherine congratulations 👏👏!!
New babies for Catherine! So exciting! The barn should be ready by the time they arrive. New silo, new and improved flooring for the stalls, a cleaer milking room - if I didn't know better I would suspect Catherine plans to spoil every resident of G&G Farms. (Not that I blame her, of course! )
What a gorgeous little red baby! Two more animals, Catherine.....how do you manage it all? You amaze me! And the horse!....so sweet! Too bad you couldn't take her home. Just the idea of the smell of horses makes me wheeze. Cursed with allergies, and I would have given anything to have a horse and cows and donkeys and emus et al.🥰I appreciate your channel to enjoy the animals vicariously.

O Miss Catherine, You make me want to have a farm again.... if I remember correctly Dexter cattle can serve for Milk or for Beef however due to smaller size, production is smaller and of course carcass weight would be less. If you just want pets not breeding bulls Why not get them Banded.... it seemed the herd bull was quiet But in Agriculture class we were admonished to never trust a bull no matter how docile because he will be so powerful, and even docile bulls may have off times. They can KILL easily if one is not forever vigilant during an off day.... That little mare seems as if she could be a darling....In our area the Mennonites usually have black buggies and Horses Many of their horses are retired from harness racing or they were not fast enough to make the cut....They told us that a horse can cost up to 15 thousand $. and the buggies are high priced too. I really like the little mares. Rick
