Jzk for this video. It looks really good. I can’t wait to try it. 😊 I don’t have any jaggery so will be using more dates and sidr honey for the sweetness. Also I don’t have pearl barley either and have pasta barley which has more fibre and also cooks in less time like the pearl barley so going to try that adaption to the recipe. Have you made this using any other nuts in addition to Almond? Most recipes seem to use a mix of three.
The authentic preperation of talbina is not the same. This may be the easy way, am not sure about. Barley needs to be really cooked well. Talbina is slow cooking in low flame, of overnight soaked barley first in water for about 30mins and then add in milk and cook for another 30 to 45 mins , then adding dates and crushed nuts. For 1 cup of soaked barley we may use 4 times water and 2 times milk, in the same measuring cup. During the slow cooking all of this reduce to a thick smoothie consistency.
Assalaamu Alaikum wrwb.. This seems a lighter version of Talbina 😊 I call it Talbina Kheer or Barley Kheer .. You hv grinded it as anyone can eat it ☺️ Btn nice presentation 🤝 But I didn't like one thing _ background music is quite irritating ..
This is not talbina - the talbina is only cook in water add milk and honey that’s it. The one you are making is something else and look delicious but not talbina
It will serve two people again it depends on the capacity of each individual. You can use any type of milk but try to use extra milk so, that you could make it slightly liquid as you would like to drink it.
This is NOT the authentic recipe of prophet sallalahu alayhi wasallam. Talbina is made with milk, barley and dates. Add pure honey when cools down. No jaggery 😮🤦♂️
SubhanAllah!!
Great that you haven't used any type of music !

Hi, absolutely you can explore and try out new things. Sometimes, we do add other nuts as well but this is what we prefer. ❤️
Very nice ❤ what did u pour on the top ? Is it any kind of syrup or juice? Please let me know ❤
honey,
We tend to add ghee at times. We love the flavour of ghee, so we add it.
Can babies eat this? (9 months)
I do not have any experience with babies to suggest that. I am extremely sorry.

Absolutely, this is just the way my mother makes and I have just shared our way of making. Thank you for sharing the authentic way. Jazak Allah Khair.

Hi, thank you for your honesty. Will try to see if I could remove it or lower the volume.
@@Foodician Thank you for your quick response 🙂 appreciated 🌹
What did you add in the end? The brown liquid?
That's honey
We tend to add ghee. We like the flavour of it.
Jaggery bohot zyad hai

This is our way of making it. This is how my mother makes it, I have never said this is the authentic way.
Fast me aap ne Jo dala uska nam kya hai batao
Woh toh upar se ghee dala hai. Agar aap ko ghee ka flavour acha lagta hai, aap daal sakte ho. It tastes great.
Jaggery ki zarorat nahi thi
Haan but hami acha lagta hai. Aap apne taste ke according alterations kar sakte hai.
Kaun se jungle se record kiya hai video 😂😂😂
Hahahahah, aap guess karlo
You need honey or else it's not fully halal.
Does it matter what milk you use? Full fat or semi-skimmed? Also want to drink this rather then eat it.
Can this recipe serve two? Thank you.
