I don’t for up work but in fiverr if the person didn’t buy your service in the platform they can’t leave a review

    • @hasan_armstrong

That's correct! On Fiverr, reviews are only allowed for transactions completed through the platform, which helps ensure that feedback is genuine and based on actual work delivered. It’s a good safeguard for both sellers and buyers.

First of all there is no such thing as seo web developer! Wtf! Either you are web developer or you are not. Secondly. Frealncing!? Why would you want to freelance and be one man show for difficult clients? One man show is fucking hard. Thirdly. You can't work from just anywhere because you need conditions and quiet. Yes, and as an employee you can work from anywhere these days, but... And, in general, to be so independent you need many years of experience. Web programming offers you many benefits, but you'll have to sacrifice a lot of years and hours of work until you get the experience that gives you those nice benefits.

I agree working as a freelance web developer is tough especially at the early stages. But once you have some experience it can be a fantastic career.
SEO developer positions do exist, try searching on Linkedin.
There are maybe not so many SEO developer job positions but there are plenty of websites that require SEO optimisations.

@@hasan_armstrong Seo developers is 0.000000001% of the web development niche. It's a children's playground and you don't prepare for that in web development. You are preparing for full stack web developer in your career and you also put in devops experience because like it or not, you have to learn because that kind of experience is required. All that experience comes over time. But you have to start somewhere. You start small and grow big over time.

Agreed, definitely need an understanding of dev ops for web development.
At first, learning the basics of making websites is crucial. But nowadays, there's so much competition that being just a 'full stack web developer' isn't enough.
In my experience, companies prefer web developers who specialize in certain areas e.g. SEO, Accessibility. Even if its a tiny percentage of web development I think its worth taking the extra time to specialize so you stand out of from the rest of the candidates.
I work in a very niche area of web development, and it's paying off well for me.
