I know the teacher was trying to be kind and understanding towards him, but allowing him to sleep in school opens the door for lazy students to pull off that same crap and take advantage. It’s like when that one annoying kid asks to use the restroom just to get out of doing something they don’t wanna do.
My teacher allows students to sleep when they feel tired or sleepy.

It's a rarity back in my day.
I'm so glad this teacher is one of the few who understand when kids fall asleep in class instead of reprimanding them and not trying to find a reason behind their fatigue.

My guess is I’m this situation she probably had a good thought that nick did the presentation himself especially since Julian wasn’t showing any signs of being tired but said he stayed up all night too. Teachers like the one portrayed here who see the whole picture and actually care are the best.

This type of thing happened to me in school the bullying and the group projects and everything. It was so bad they pulled me out of gym for 6th through 8th grade and I took summer PE in high school just so I didn’t have to take it with everyone else.
Years later I’d only add. Don’t bully nerds because when we become adults we may not want to bothered helping jerks.

10/10 Acting i shed a tear watching this for how beautiful the perpetual story telling and how they constantly break the 4th wall barrier it is truly beautiful.
Had a similar scenario in middle school. Had two lab partners that didn't help out with a project so I ended up doing all the work. When it came time to present the project in front of the whole class it was apparent that they had no idea what was going on. The teacher gave me a passing grade and gave my partners zeros for the project

This exact same thing happened to me with my best friends. We all had a huge history project and it was worth 100 points. I asked them to help me multiple times in our chat and they left me on seen and changed the subject. I had to stay up many nights to work on it myself and I ended up telling them they hurt my feelings by ignoring me for our project. One of them apologized and the other blocked me. I told the teacher that she didn’t help. I kind of feel bad but idk

@@cheneethompson5756 When you've been teaching for awhile, you know the kids and their behavior patterns. Nick simply had a reputation for being a hardworking, honest student while Julian had a terrible reputation for poor performance.
I have taught numerous kids and in a few months, you really figure out their behavior patterns and what they do.

In college, I didn't like group projects
Because, there was often someone who was lazy
But, we talked some sense into them
And they came around
One time, I took a geography course
And a group project was about religions
We were assigned Judaism
We got an A on the assignment!
There was a group who did Rastafarianism
Out of nowhere, a member yelled, "Selassie I!"
Since Rastas say "Selassie I(like in the letter)!"
Even tho Haile Selassie was "Selassie the First"
"I" is the Roman numeral for "first"
The whole class was in stitches!
Good video to show that we should never judge a misbehaving child/teen as having parents who do not discipline them. Many times it is just like in this video-parents do not know the child misbehaves at school or other places. We should also, when their child is at our home, never fail to tell the parent what the child did wrong, even if we already gave them some discipline. Never reason that our punishment was enough. The parents are responsible for giving guidance, correction and should be told when the child does wrong.
Well, this is just a short film, not real. This is all staged anyways.
But in any case, Julian was sent to summer school because his grades were failing. He had been disciplined by his parents already; look at his mother taking away his Xbox.
Funny that Julian calls Nick a loser; Julian is the real loser. Failing grades, not willing to work hard, and blaming others.

The end starts off great, but when the mom gives the ticket to Nick that's great. But when she suggests that Nick should go with Jess to the game, the girl that Julian likes. Julian will never entirely forget what his mom did to him that day. Took away his Xbox, Going summer school, had No basketball game, and the nerd he bullied is getting the girl he likes. I know he is the bad guy, but I still feel more bad for him than Nick.
I’m not tbh. I learned the hard way when it comes to making ppl do your work. And I graduated last year with honors. If this was my kid I would’ve ordered a 3rd ticket and took both of them to the game without Julian.
This video could’ve used an extra scene where Nick still got an A on the project.
When you pushes somebody in your group to do the group project, only the one that did the work will get the credits; rest of them don't get the credit. It's pretty simple and straightforward. Also, the group gonna have a conflict and at the worse situation, nobody gets the work done.
