@@MrEstherons those two were never in the same league with onyeka, they lied their way to the top, deceiving the public with songs they never composed.
@@mobychima1087what a disrespectful statement, one does not have to be a composer to be a great performer.. please do not disrespect Christy Essien or Funmi Adams even though we love and respect Mama Onyeka. These women helped shape our childhood .
I don’t know about Fuji Adam’s but Christy Essien Igbokww was as good as Onyeka. Another person was Nelly Uchendu, though I am not sure she was nationally that famous, but she was as famous as Onyeka Onwenu among Igbos. Funny Adams may have been very famous amongst the Yoruba’s. I barely remember any music by her or even her face. The name resonates some, but not that much. FYI, I am in my early 50’s and was into music since I was a kid.
Oh, great one who united us with your golden voice, taught us to dance in the sun with one love. Now you have transcended to dance in the stars. May your legacy live forever.
Songs with meaning! One of the Musicians that touched lives with meaningful and impacting songs. A woman who acknowledged God in everything. She cannot be compared to all these Illuminati musicians. God bless you ma.
See song❤😢 Onyeka Onwenu has always been a very beautiful woman❤btw there is none of her song I listened to that I did not like..... RIP Legend.....you will forever be remembered.....
This is my favourite song by Onyeka ❤ I love her music and admire her greatly. It is a sad loss to her family, loved ones, and all of us, her fans. She could easily have lived for many more years, but God knows best. RIP, the Elegant Stallion 😢🙏🏽
I exhausted my mother's battery playing this song a thousand times on our radio set . 'Wait for me' which she did with King Sunny Ade was another of her songs that took me by storm. Rest well, great one.
You made my childhood memories fun with your awesome songs. I will never forget you 😢. I love you ❤️ so very much. Thank you for being amazing. Rest on my lady.
Legend is a legend, she never lacked her words from beginning to the end and believe you me her last number wasn't part of the list but because the show owner came up and that's a genius act right there.Rest on Ma

Beautiful song mama. ❤ I have a song 🎵 to feature you in.

Loved this song as a child, watching this now, shocked as to how vocally limited she is.
I am shocked as to how one could make an ignorant comment like this in very good English.
@@AzubuikeEyesOkoro lol same. An unintelligent comment masqueraded in good English.
