Symone truly gave winner vibes from day one. No shade to the other queens from this season, but the only other one I saw winning besides her was Denali.
The reason why I think she’s one of the best winners ever is because she won against CRAZY competition in Rosé, Gottmik, Denali, Olivia, Utica, and Tamisha.
I appreciate her looks more than Mik’s although they are both fashion queens. Mik’s are just extravagant looks from the best designers. Symone came in with looks that are so unapologetically black and high fashion at the same time. We’ve never had a queen like her on the show. AND her skin was always shining on that runway.
i wouldn't say mik's looks are "just extravagant looks." she was very unapologetically trans in several of her runways including her night look, lbd, and beast runways with her scars out, her campier outfits are all incredibly polished and high fashion (her finale, for example). that being said, i definitely do think symone has been an incredible runway queen but bringing mik down to say so is just unnecessary (and a surface level observation in this case).
