Is it possible to call the class library using web add in? Because I was tying to use REST API which need backend language due to cors issue in web add in.

My task pane is not docked. It shows up as a floating panel on top of the spreadsheet. (I assume this is a user setting in Excel, specific to my machine, but I can't find it.) How does a user make it dock? How do I make sure my pane is docked by default in the code?
Suppose there is some data in excel and data is in multiple sheets and what i want is to save the data in the database by calling the api. Then how can we read the data and make the post request?

Have you figured it out? Have the same problem. Doesn't seem to hit breakpoints. I'm using Astrogrep to find all instances of Home.js and Home.html and replicate for additional task pane, but can't figure it out. It's very irritating, such a big company as Microsoft can't make good documentation.

I don't know whether it will help, but now I have Home.html only in the source location in the manifest file.
In urls I have something like that:

Just don't use Home.html in URLs.

Thanks for this nice tutorial.... you write this web add-in with HTML, CSS, JS in the .net framework. So far I know, web add-in can be created by Office script which is another programming language by Microsoft. Is my understanding correct?

If you're targeting Web Excel then you can go for Office Add-in else VSTO for Desktop office apps.

Hi George, I'll cover some examples in coming videos. According to me VSTO is more useful and more stable as compared to Office Add-ins platform. We'll cover some more example in 'Office Add-ins platform' and then look at VSTO too.

@@VBAA2Z Thanks. I did see those tutorials but as a beginner nothing was straightforward and they not complete. Nothing about the need to start a server, what directory it should be started from etc i finally got it working but had to figure a lot by myself.
