Lots of people on a particular mecha imageboard think you've probably got the space aids in your lungs now from not using a proper respirator when sanding resin. Looks awesome though.
I think it has more to do with it being china resin, but you're probably right. Also that resin is so nice. Compare that to the garbage they give you in Forgeworld models.
Well to be fair to Dr. Froggle most of the resin tutorials recommend a proper RESPIRATOR with organic gas cartridges, not a N95 equivalent mask. Resin dust is very bad for your lungs, put it this way if i'm in a stuffy room with a freshly opened resin kit i start feeling a little sick and thats before sanding. Then again i'm a total hypocrite cos i sanded my dark exia resin conversion kit just wearing an N95 mask. Also i smoke so i'm pretty much digging my own grave already. Wait what was my point again?......Love from Singapore ZakuA! Keep those videos coming!
To be fair to me? I was describing what I observed others saying. I wasn't making an argument. I did a research paper on Lyme Disease for a Health and Safety class a couple months ago. It doesn't mean I want people to contract Lyme disease.
i was driving around this morning listening to jazz then some guy was also hooning around with me in his toyota auris. that whole scene right there made me think of the fa78 and the psycho zaku
Is it okay to use cyanoacrylate (super glue) when assembling this resin kit or is there another type of glue that is a better choice? I typically use Bob Smith Industries Insta-Cure & Maxi-Cure for these type of things and that is what I was planning on. However, if there is a better choice I'd really appreciate knowing what that is??
When you get around to painting it, do you reckon it would be easier to paint it with all the parts attached or separate and glue them after? I figured if you had to glue them after I'd be worried about superglue fog or something ruining the paint.
Misha Masumy some of the smaller detail parts I'll probably glue and just hand paint later- rather than masking. But most everything I'll glue after painting
Would you say it's best to Paint resin before or after you attach it to the base model (i'm sure it's before) also, would you say that Infinite dimension is relatively easy for a first timer? I have never done anything resin but I'd love to. My I have been building Master Grades for about 5 years now
How does this work is the armor made from resin and do you just put it over the regular armor or do you take off the regular armor and replace it with the resin armor . I'm very intrigued...
I saw they are gonna sell the gundam origin version of this resin dress up kit and I really wanted to grab one! Can you tell us alittle bit on how to go about painting these? Thanks!
You really only need to wash it prior to painting. I find it's easier to just dump all the resin into a bin full of industrial auto degreaser (in the USA, Purple Power is a brand that is used quite a bit in the resin kit world)
Dude, I'm so envy for this :-( it looks gorgeous! By the way,can I ask about Gundam Central? Cause I've find this beautiful Resin kit over here. they're good? I can trust them?
I've built the dark exia conversion from the same company. Don't know for sure about this one but if its like the one i have i highly recommend it. The casting is very clean and doesn't need as much work as other resin kits i've seen. You will have to be able to do some basic modelling, like mine had two left thigh parts instead on one of each but i managed to fix the issue with a dremel easily. Also you might have to rescribe some parts and fill in a few holes with putty which i didn't bother with as they were very minute imperfections. Also remember to soak in dishwasher as resin has mould release chemical on it which will stop your paint from sticking. It is crazy expensive though.
Heero Yuy no...it's different, u should watch the unboxing review of this one, dress-up resin means it makes the look more superb, more detail and kinda like custom build
Make sure to use wet sandpaper and a face mask of some sorts. Resin dust is very bad for your lungs. People will tell you it's not needed, but it's better to be safe than sorry

Dr. Froggle I'm wearing a mask just in case~ not a big hassle!

You just couldn't resist couldn't you? That conversion kit looks too awesome to stay abandoned in the backlog realm.
it's been on ice for a few months! I couldn't wait any more!
Cant wait to see update on this, it would be the only video of the model on the interwebs
Where is part 2
Its really nice so far, i used the more simple gk resin kit parts on mine, and it was about the same experience.
We need an update on this project!! :'(
The background jazz made me think of Io Fleming

Did your chest side plate fit perfectly? I think mine shrunk
Hey Zak idk if youll have the answer to this but do you know what yellow mat modeling service uses? Like what ratios of what colors?
Proto-Shock not sure what you're talking about. Can you clarify?
ZakuAurelius on Mat's wing proto zero it's almost like an orange-ish yellow I can't really describe it my apologies
Oddly enough last week I got my first resin kit, the mg sword calamity. I want to paint it but the weather took a turn for the worst
Fits together better than that RG Barzam conversion already...

Lih-Wei Jeng I'm not sure~ as the opening of the shop who sent me this has stalled :/
mvm3897 is a great modeler and has good how to videos on his channel all about resin. And I can't wait to see this kit finished!
Brian Wood for sure, Matt has loads of experience!
Hey zack what will you be doing with the spare parts form the original sazabi? do you plan to use it in a kitbash, or something like that?
Melvindog 8 not sure really, so for now they are going to be in the spare parts bin, yeah!
Wheres the final review????
Haven’t finished it!!
Is this going to be finish?
Do you have to scribe the panel lines or are they good enough?
I'll have to do a tiny bit of re-scribing, but not too much!
Did you wash the resin parts with dishwashing liquid? I heard theres mold release agent chemicals on resin.
You really only need to wash it prior to painting. I find it's easier to just dump all the resin into a bin full of industrial auto degreaser (in the USA, Purple Power is a brand that is used quite a bit in the resin kit world)
Not yet! I will once they're ready for paint! I have more sanding to do yet!
When are you announcing the contest winners
titanslayer lord right now
Looking good dude. Resin not that bad to deal with when good casting.
Dave's World I'm loving this kit so far!
I just finished my infinite dimension sazabi😁
Do I need the MG Sazabi kit as well or will just the resin kit do?
You need the Sazabi Ver.Ka kit
@@ZakuAurelius thank you for the reply!
I thought this one is about the unicorn contest! Lol hahha
I need this for my sazabi build😭😭😭
Gundam Unicorn contest?
Dude, I'm so envy for this :-( it looks gorgeous!
By the way,can I ask about Gundam Central? Cause I've find this beautiful Resin kit over here. they're good? I can trust them?
I've bought a few things from them a couple years ago, experience was fine!
ZakuAurelius oh, great. I'm very grateful for the fast response, and thanks for letting me borrow your paint scheme for the strike Noir! Thanks a lot!
just watching this while waiting for the contest results with baited breath, even though I can see nicer builds I have to know
HolyHammerStrike damn man I feel reinvigorated and full of hope
haha, win!
Hi, do you recommend this for first time resin kit builder?
Dyson LockOn there are pros and cons. The high quality of it makes it easier I think. But if you mess it up, it's an expensive mess-up!

ZakuAurelius thanks, noted :)
muffin30087 thanks bro.

Yep, adds loads of detail and changes some proportions a bit.
Make sure to use wet sandpaper and a face mask of some sorts. Resin dust is very bad for your lungs. People will tell you it's not needed, but it's better to be safe than sorry
Skuffle oh for sure! Thanks
More jazz please...
