Wonderful show Pete as always. I've checked and can confirm my subscription to Holy Trinity. Yes, Ollie has improved in all areas. Given his desire to continually improve, combined with the elite, world-class coaching from Dr (PHD) Unai & Co, I am sure there's more to come. I notice too that when his teammates score, he now joins in the celebrations with them, I guess there's more inner happiness. What a season we are having, inspite of the injuries, we keep finding ways to win, as you say the mentality is, ' briiiiliant'. One game at a time, of course, but things are looking so good for the Mighty Aston Villa! Thanks once again Pete, nice touch to mention Justin from UTV podcast, we are the Villa Family!
Great analysis Pete, lovely to see Deano as well. This channel should have way more subs than it does, it's by far the best Villa channel on RUclips. Anyway onto Ajax and then Spurs - I'm predicting we'll win both UTV!!!!

Great summary Pete. Totally agree about the ref - the foul count should have been the reverse. I think that the back 4 who finished will start on Thursday, and then as you suggest Pau will come back at the weekend, and Konsa will switch across.

Re Big Morgs coming off - I am not convinced that happens if he is not on a yellow. I think he maybe just moves centrally behind Ollie to get him away from the left side, but one silly foul and we're down to 10, so I understood it, and was not too fussed at all about that one.

Deano left the club and the fans still love him. Not many managers can say that. He got us out of the Championship, and he was miles better than the man who replaced him. We would still be missing him if it wasn't for a certain world class manager named Emery.
Rogers looks more like a Merson type roamer than a Ramsey type. I liked his movement in the first half, but he did leave Moreno exposed when we needed to defend. Lots of potential, but he might need to adapt his natural game under Emery.
Every game is a step closer to the Champions League, which is where we really need to be. A European trophy this season would be a massive welcome bonus, because this club needs to actually win something and we've waited long enough.

He seems helplessly stuck on his line for most the set piece/crossed goals weve conceded lately. Thank you for corroborating my apoplexy towards Michael Oliver's refereeing. I even looked him up to see where he comes from and was disappointed to find he wasn't born in Old Trafford. He was disgraceful and could have really affected our victory. He needs a serious review.

Great point on writing off players too easily. Feels likeVilla fans are particularly bad at this. Just get behind the players, nothing good comes of criticising players, they’ll either drop out of the team through poor performance without us getting on their back or come good

As a neutral, the ref was a dick. Cash needs to look up the pitch and stop all the back passing. He literally played Bailey out of the game. Luton literally Uno reversed Villa in the second half.
