Their is just something about raising food that people are going to eat that is satisfying. My wife's gig is a community supported agribusiness. We have 80 acres into it. So much more work! It's an enterprise that growth just creates more overhead, and it's not the kind that will ever pay for itself. Human resources, the gift that keeps on taking! Yet, you know it's going to make people smile and sigh on relief, and that part is good.
Hi sir Werner farms, happy to whatch your Nice vidéo.i will like to know how i can thoses tomatoes seeds.there is a campagne Who sold that,i am from Canada thanks
TwoHappyChildrenFarm Depends. They stage the plantings so they can alternate between fields and so that not all of the tomatoes come on at once. They've finished on the field with the 6 tower pivot last week which took them about month to do and they should finish the field with the big pivot this weekend if not the first of the week which would have taken them about a month to do also.
Would have been better with less drone video - seen one, seen them all - and more of the actual tomato processing and inner workings. How does the shuttle driver get even loading along the trailer? Blue-tooth closed circuit cameras? Two-way? Good quality video techniques - I was just left wondering about inner workings too much.
U probably already answered this. What market are these tomatoes sold to? I have never seen tomatoes harvested such a way. Being from southern California before retirement, I grew up watching tomatoes hand picked. I am assuming these go to the catsup industry?
They are actually taken to Red Gold for ketchup. Don't be afraid to ask questions even if you think I have already answered it! I love reading comments and answering questions!

No
😂
How many tones of tomato you grow on 1 acre? And liked the video 👍
35 tons to the acre is an average yield for canning tomatoes in Indiana
@@brantmerrill9099 1 acre is how many square meters in usa? ı'm living in Turkey and ı am farmer
How many days does it take to harvest a field that size? Nice weed control, recognize a few of the same ones that give us trouble down here.

TwoHappyChildrenFarm Marestail and waterhemp both became big issues in our area this year.
