    This is my first time listening to or watching any of Seventeen's releases and I am hooked. Each song had its own feel and to have that many members and be able to work so well together vocally and dance wise is amazing. Definitely a fan and going to be checking out the guides as well as their older and future projects! Sorry for the pop ups but this video did not wanna go up and not get blocked. Thanks for watching with me and feel free to recommend anything else that is a priority to watch from this group!(:

    hybe acquired pledis, however pledis still manage the group. In fact Seventeen saved pledis from bankruptcy, after debuting in 2015 the members had to buy themselves stage equipment like in ears but because they were expensive some of the members used earbuds or just went without anything. Seventeen have worked incredibly hard since debut til now I hope you continue to enjoy and support them

      Ahhhh okay, jeeze I always on one hand feel for them whenever groups have to start out that way and don’t get the benefits that other groups do but it makes me appreciate and admire them so much more knowing that they worked that much to get to where they are and they do most of it on their own. Will definitely be checking out more of their stuff, they’re here to stay👌🏼 thanks(:

    • @tomuchcamoflauge
      @tomuchcamoflauge 2 года назад +4

      @@KaileeDanielle calling starting equipment benefits is probably not correct. for two reasons the first being that they're performers and these things are required work equipment, the second being for most kpop groups any equipment and staff salaries are tacked onto debt for the group. Most groups are not able to get out of that debt. the most notable example of that I remember is block B suing their company after they sold like 1,000,000 worth of albums and merchandise and only receiving 400$ for the entire group

    • @KaileeDanielle
      @KaileeDanielle  2 года назад +4

      @@tomuchcamoflauge I’m not extremely well versed in that area so thank you for explaining/informing me of that, I wasn’t necessarily meaning to say ‘starting equipment’ specifically but an overall statement of working with what they have/making the most of what they’re provided. So thanks for clarifying that.

      @@KaileeDanielle it's one of those aspects of the music industry in general that gets kind of looked over. Seventeen has always been very resourceful with what they're given too. Probably most kpop groups are, I know more about seventeen in particular though

    10:54 So... Seventeen has been a self-produced group since pre debut (2012-2015) and Hoshi (performance team leader) is the main choreographer of the group. He usually works with Choi Youngjun or the TEAM SAME. And the other performance team members Jun, Minghao and Dino.
    Also, you already noticed it when you read the credits, Woozi is the main producer, writer, and composer of the group. He usually works with Bumzu (Seventeen's ex vocal trainer during predebut) and the other members to make their songs. Bumzu is another Pledis artist and he has a studio called Prism Filter.
    Pledis is their company. In 2020 Hybe announced the acquisition of a majority shareholder of Pledis Entertainment. So now they are one of the Hybe Labels, but Pledis is still an indepent label.

    • @KaileeDanielle
      @KaileeDanielle  2 года назад +23

      Ah okay the company stuff makes sense now. It makes me like them even more knowing they produce and write all of their own stuff, that’s a big contender on how I view music and granted it sounds good either way, the fact that they do it themselves and putting what they want out is great. Huge props to Hoshi for choreo then cause jeeze it’s constructed so well and to Woozi cause he sounds like an all rounder.

    Thank you so much for reacting to Seventeen!
    Since you love paying attention to the details and behind the scene, I can guarantee that you'll definitely love Seventeen. They're branded as the "SELF-PRODUCING IDOLS" because they produce, write, choreograph, and many more behind production activities.
    They're are also branded as "THE THEATER KIDS OF KPOP" because of their story telling/theatrical choreographies and "MOST SYNCHRONIZED KPOP GROUP" because of their impeccable synchronization.
    SEVENTEEN will release their 4th full album on May 27, this Friday. I hope you can check that out too.
    Welcome to the CARATLAND! Enjoy your Diamond Journey!

    Okay members Joshua and Vernon are both American born members so they both are very fluent in English. Members Woozi, Dino, Mingyu, Seungkwan and S.Coups manage English fairly well the others know some English but are not well versed in it. I think some of the are currently studying English since Seventeen are very popular in the U.S. some of the members speak other languages as well. Joshua actually speaks 5 languages.
    Woozi can be recognized because he is the shortest member. Yes they do participate in the production, writing, composing and choreography. Hoshi and Dino are both choreographers, All members write lyrics but Woozi and Vernon are the two main songwriters. Bumzu who was their mentor and is also a solo music artist with their company, Woozi and Vernon do most of the composing. Most of the members play instruments also. You were right when you said they are a fun group. They are ridiculously funny and chaotic when together. They are a favorite on variety shows and other kpop groups say they are so loud when waiting to appear they have to be told to quiet down for fear of being heard on stage or during others tapings. They are not that hard to learn cause each member has certain personalities and qualities that stand out about them. I do suggest watching the Super Long Guide 2022 version since it is very informative and updated. Seventeen does do different genres and are referred to as the theater kids of Kpop

    • @KaileeDanielle
      @KaileeDanielle  2 года назад +6

      Ah okay! I feel like I knew about those two being from America and thanks for letting me know about the other members! Dude I honestly don’t know what I’m ganna do about Joshua😂 first it’s the looks, then it’s the voice, from what I’ve seen his personality seems great and now you’re saying he’s smart as hell. Like how do you guys survive with all 13 of them😂 Thanks so much for the explanation of some of who participates in what part, I love that each of them have input into the whole process. Hahaa I can’t wait until I get into the stuff besides music like variety shows and compilations and stuff cause I feel like that would be such a good time. I will be doing the long 2022 one cause that seems to be the most recommended and recent so that’ll be coming soon and I absolutely love that they’re called the theater kids of K-pop that’s amazing😂

    Welcome to the diamond life! Since you liked 'Darl+ing' so much, you might appreciate 'Oh My!', 'Pretty U' and 'Fallin' Flower', a few of their other bright and wholesome title tracks.
    As far as Going Seventeen (GoSe) goes, I generally recommend to start at the 2020-2021 episodes and watch 2017-2019 once you catch up. You can't really go wrong no matter where you start though so, regardless, I hope you have fun with it!
    Hit the Road is another good show to watch if you want to get to know the members individually - it is more serious than GoSe and has an episode focused on each member.
    Thank you for checking out our boys, please support their comeback on the 27th!

    OMG hiiii thank you for doing this! Yeees, if you stan a 23 member group then 13 is easy hahahaha Well, Seventeen is from Pledis Entertainment it's a small-medium sized company which Seventeen saved from bankruptcy, note that eversince then Seventeen was already thriving. And was doing great. They are a self-producing group, definitely the first ones to be, since pre-debut which means they produce and write their own lyrics and choreographing their own discography. They also take part in designing their merch, concert production, and basically everything they produce. Some members also direct and edit music videos. Also, you are right. Seventeen is one of the fun, genuine groups out there.
    If you are going to watch a guide. I recommend the super long guide for seventeen which has 4 parts i guess. Don't worry, carats looooove long videos hahahaha

It seems like they all have multiple hats and take part in something here and there which is so nice to hear. Yeah they for sure seem like a fun group so I wanna get to know them more/check out stuff other than music as well eventually but will start with the guides! I saw you ask about going SVT. I personally think it's best to start with the mbti in 2019.. I think it's ep 13or 14. and then also maybe watch the 6 episodes of 17 project (you have to find the subbed ones though) followed by Hit the Stage for more background info that's more serious alongside. Later when you are completely fangirling you can go back and watch the earliest going seventeen.. Like them making the theme song for the show. Just a suggestion though. I honestly usually say to do this in the way you enjoy most. Many say to start with all TTT episodes, they are pretty funny.
    Thank you for the reaction. It's so great to have someone new appreciate them. I saw everyone else giving you all the info so I won't add to that. 💕💎 I'm excited to see you react to some solo stuff and unit stuff too... And dance practices. Lol they have too much content🤣
    P.s. the + symbolizes Carats and seventeen coming together as 1 team or being 1 team. They had an interview and ing also has a meaning but if have to look for it..I think it's something like infinite or something. Not sure.

      Hahaa thanks so much for the suggestion and explaining all of that! Just by looking at some of the thumbnails they look like they're going to be such a good time to watch so I'm wicked excited for that. From what everyone has been commenting letting me know about how they started, everything they put into their career and such, it makes me admire them so much and want to get to know them even more. Yes I can tell there is soooooo much content just like with NCT I feel like I'll never catch up but I'm honestly just excited to start diving into everything so we'll get there haha. Ah okay I love that it does have a significant meaning! I also can't say enough how much I appreciate all the Carats helping me out with info and being so kind about it! Makes it even better with a great fandom supporting them.

      @@KaileeDanielle it might be easiest honestly to just start with 2020 for now. This is the year the show got more structured into a variety show. It has even become more or as popular in rankings than or like shows like running man. It actually has it's own fandom that SVT acknowledges called Cubics(like Cubic Zirconium). Once you start to really learn the members a bit you could venture into earlier episodes if you want. They do have inside jokes from all the way back predebut days lol. Eventually you will get it though. Most of us rewatch once we finish them. Btw I'm a much older fangirl, my daughter got me into kpop many years ago. I've been following svt for 6 years but really became obsessed about 3 years ago at a kcon where I saw them live. I've never fangirled over a group all this time until now.(I am a multistan though just SVT is my ult😊) Anyway, I hope you enjoy this. Oh and we, Carats, love watching long videos. We will watch these videos all the way through with you..lol.

      @@KaileeDanielle I meant to mention that a while back Seungkwan won the rookie of the year for entertainment and this last year he won Male Idol Entertainer of the Year. Also not sure if anyone mentioned but Woozi won Best Producer this past year also. I'm pretty sure some others have achievements and I know they each have big name brand endorsements. I'm really proud of them because literally they have done at least half or more of the work to get themselves where they are

      @@angelaself6261 yeah I’m definitely leaning towards doing the newer stuff first just cause it’ll be easier while I’m still getting the hang of who’s who and such but I think I’ll still have a great time and I love to hear that you guys love long videos cause I do too so im glad I don’t have to worry about that. I feel like music doesn’t have an age limit or restriction so I welcome anyone who’s a fan and wants to just enjoy it altogether. I love when people get their family and friends into the world that is K-pop! I got my cousin to come to the BTS in LA concert and she said it was one of the best ones she’s ever been to! @@angelaself6261 oh really?? From the interview/RUclips video I saw with them and FO Squad it seemed like Seungkwan was definitely an outgoing mood maker and just a fun time I loved his personality, Vernon seemed like he was definitely more on the chiller side but was really good at making conversation and Joshua was good at making the vibe comfortable and everything. I can’t remember who the other member with them was but I do remember he wasn’t extremely fluent in English but he was a delight and definitely had a good vibe to him! These are definitely just assumptions so I could be totally wrong as I don’t know them really well but they did all just seem like cool nice people!

    i love your reaction! i know people have probably said this already but yeah seventeen doesn’t really have too many lore stuff going on, BUT “don’t wanna cry”, “without you”, and “clap” are kind of connected! not necessarily MV-wise, more on the choreography side.
    “don’t wanna cry” ending pose transitions right into “without you” and “without you” ending pose transitions into “clap”! and i think that’s really cool.
    so if you’re planning on watching “don’t wanna cry” dance practice, i’d recommend watching “without you” dance practice after that, and then “clap” dance practice.

      @@KaileeDanielle they actually have a lot of solo stuff they did for concerts but not for albums. Some are hard to find. Recently though they finally started releasing solos I believe because many had thoughts of solo careers but renewed contracts anyway. I think now they have more freedom though for this and maybe recognize we want it. There are many hidden gems you have to search for like unit switches that they do during Carat land(yearly reunion). Many normal unit performances and mixed unit. It's harder to find them live. At least they are on the albums though. Right now you have official mvs for Hoshi, Woozi, The 8(you could do a long video for all his content), Jun .. I think DK has an ost

    Thank you for reacting to their videos. You can check the video of Caratland17 because it has almost complete informations about them. Another thing, for me, they are one of the idols that I can say that they respect women in general. Like Wonwoo, whenever he wrote lyrics, he always considers us, women. So he always let their woman staff read his written lyrics if it can degrade or hurt our feelings. So they raised my standards when it comes to KPop idols. So whenever I hear a Korean song that I like, I immediately look at the English translation. Not just I want to understand but also know if they are degrading or being discriminating against most especially women. By the way, I am an ARMOCA ( ARMY, MOA & CARAT).

    Thanks for reacting to SVT! Looks like you already have half their names and faces down! The most detailed and current one is the super long guide by caratline17 (it's two hours, but totally worth it). If you don't have the time to watch it all in one go, most reactors with watch it in parts: ruclips.net/video/cU0ZMPF_rGs/видео.html
    Also, if you're into cinematography you will love my favorite Seventeen MV, Fallin Flower. It's shot by the same team as Darling. It's a Japanese track, but you shouldn't have any copyright issues if you choose to watch it.

    FYI I understand not wanting the video blocked but in a matter of a few seconds each that video avoiding kept popping up. It made this reaction less enjoyable to listen to. Is there something else you can do or not have it pop up so many times? Sorry I really am not being mean. If I am just ignore this then. 😁

    • @KaileeDanielle
      @KaileeDanielle  Год назад +1

      No worries, I definitely understand as when even I watch it back the pop ups can bother me as well and I wouldn’t include them if I was able to put it up without it getting taken down. I haven’t had a problem with blocking with the videos after that one so it may have also been because it was a marathon so it had multiple music videos with different rights holders so at the moment I’m leaning more towards doing what I’ve been recently doing with the one song per video but will eventually try to do the marathon format again and see how it goes. Thanks for the feedback as I know it’s distracting but I still appreciate you watching, thanks(:

    SVT is very very funny, they literally have a seperate fandom called cubics (fake diamonds lol) for people who are only fans of their variety show Going Seventeen because its THAT funny.
    Also be warned when watching guides because 99% of all guides are shitty af. The only really good one is ‘the super long svt guide 2022’ but its literally 2 hours long, tho you can split it onto 3 parts because they show each units in a seperate video
