    How could 27 people dislike this wonderful composition and performance? The conductor, the orchestra, the chorus and the soloists gave a thrilling reading of this piece. And it being found in this section of You Tube the listeners knew it was classical sacred music. How could anyone not love it?

    歐陸樂團如德奧瑞洪加上LSO等均有優良傳統與高水準演出,剛收視二首羅西尼與普契尼的聖母悼歌,由法蘭克福廣播交響樂團精湛的演出,尤其在德國古老教堂演出製作,視頻與音效均屬上乘,很棒,使我內心充滿平靜與感恩的心,尤其在這次新冠疫情還未完全脫困時刻,更能顯出宗教音樂撫慰人心的效果。各位樂迷請不吝指正!

    Herrliche Auffuehrung des wunderbaren Werkes von Rossini. Die Dramatik der Musik, aber auch die Lebendigkeit passen zu der relig.Betrachtung des Karfreitaggeschehens im Text des Stabat Mater. Aber bei aller ergreifender Musik dieses Werkes, das Stabat Mater von Pergolesi geht mir noch mehr zu Herzen. Ihr muesst Euch unbedingt auch mal das anhoeren.

    A obra é magnífica como todas que Rossini criou, a interpretação é mais do que magnífica, mas talvez Rossini tenha esquecido que o próprio título, "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" foca Maria em doloroso sofrimento prostrada aos pés de Jesus crucificado!... Mas, em se tratando de Rossini, tudo é possível e até agradavelmente aceito.

    Why do today's tenors have no ring in their voice? They did in previous generations.

    • @jimdrake-writer
      @jimdrake-writer 5 лет назад +1

      Here, the acoustical imbalance between the orchestra and soloists (whom the orchestra dominates) make it difficult to assess how much “ping” Angelini has. He sang the “Cujus” in key but unlike Pavarotti and others, he did not hold the high D-flat beyond what the score specifies, so it’s hard to tell how well his voice “rings.”

    • @shirleyrombough8173

      It's hard to tell, given the acoustics of this venue, according to the next contributor. That has to be considered. The duet with alto and soprano was beautiful. They were equal in beauty of tone, musicianship and expressiveness. I loved the whole thing.
