He knows what Tae is doing and he repeatedly told him that he was in love with him and wanted to be with him through Tae's treatments. BUT Tae keeps rejecting him, I am sorry but there is only so much a person can hurt before they have to take themselves out of a situation that could end up worse. And that is what JK did, it might be running away but I think it was the only thing he could do at the moment. He needed love and guidance from a person who he knows that will never hurt him, his bestie. Both Tae and JK are making bad decisions but they are only human, as humans we are flawed. LOVE THE STORY!
