Very timely for me. My son just rented his first space. It’s 300 sq ft. The space would be ok except it’s in an older building with bump outs all over making furniture placement a challenge. The biggest one being a double bed. He had the idea of getting an armless sofa. We’ll see what we can find. Depending on your partner’s height, you could consider an “rv queen” bed. It’s basically the width of a queen bed, but the length of a full/double. It would require a custom bed frame as I’ve never seen one. Of course as you mentioned, smaller comes at a cost premium. 👍🇨🇦
I’m so glad and I wish you and your son well on setting up his new space! The bed is an interesting thought, have never seen one of those in Canada but I will be on the lookout now. Thanks!
Great ideas. It would be nice to see a video how you address family and friends who want to buy you gifts when you have such a limited space. I have found it is hard to convince them I don't need any more cups or bed sets or kitchen gadgets, but would rather just have some of their time!
Thanks for sharing! Definitely a challenge helping loved ones understand why gifts aren’t wanted. To be honest with you, we don’t have that issue as our families aren’t big on gifts, but I can see how this would be hard to navigate!
You're apartment and your style is very lovely and so nice. Thanks for your great content. 🧡🧡🧡 I'm in love with your vest and glasses. 😍 Looking forward and wishing you the best for your work and the next videos. 🍀
That’s so kind, thank you for watching and for the lovely comment! And in case you’re wondering, the best is from Gillian Stevens and the glasses are Warby Parker 💕
Great, inspiring video. My husband and I have lived in very small spaces our entire life together (spending most of that time until very recently in Manhattan). Your tips are wonderful and though we live in a somewhat larger space now, I continue to use a similar approach to maintain a calming (but still cozy) home.
36m2 for 2 here, so 1/4 smaller than this flat. Our flat looks way bigger that it actually is, because we keep most of our furniture white, all surfaces are clean (no utensils in the kitchen, everything is hidden), and we avoid decorative stuff like a plague. I have a lot of plants though.
I’m glad you found it helpful! I have a linktree you can access through my bio on TikTok or Insta (YT doesn’t let me link it) - there you will find links to all my home stuff. Hope that helps!
Great tip- I’ll add it to my list and give it some thought, as I’m not sure I have too many cleaning faves. I do have a Dyson and that comes in pretty handy though!
I like your videos. But do you realize that the US is the only country in the world that uses feet and inches? The rest of the world uses the decimal system. A fridge of 3 or 4 feet high or wide takes me some minutes to figure out how big that is. I live jn Europe.
Glad you like the videos! For context I live in Canada and we use some of the same measurements as the US. My followership has been mostly American, but it’s good to hear feedback that makes this content more accessible to others. Thanks! ✌️
Beautiful space! Great tips… And very affordable ideas
Glad you like them!
Such a great interior! Love it!
Glad you like it!
I agree with you on all of these. We live in a 900 sq.ft. apartment.

I love hearing this- living ‘small’ can continue to be an attitude even if it doesn’t describe your current surroundings! 💕

You’ve shared some really useful tips here for making a small space feel bigger! Great advice 👌
Great inspiration! Do you have a list of resources you discussed in your video, specifically brands for small space furniture? Thanks.

I'll bet cleaning is pretty quick for you. Can you do a video on your cleaning faves if you haven't already? And do you have a vacuum?
Great tip- I’ll add it to my list and give it some thought, as I’m not sure I have too many cleaning faves. I do have a Dyson and that comes in pretty handy though!

I’m moving from three bedroom home to a motor home
That’s so cool! Good luck on your move!
