Becoming Unoffendable | Pastor Kevin Ward

The temperature of this world is that offence and anger are on the rise. With cancel culture and social media, it seems that people are increasingly angry with each other … even Christians angry with each other. Yet, Jesus warned us that in the latter days, offences would increase (Matt. 24:10). In our modern world, people are getting offended quicker and quicker. In marriages, in families, in churches, and all nations, there is a division that is growing. If Jesus warned us about the age of offence, what does He say about what our posture should be towards offence as Christians? Is there such a thing as a righteous anger? Is it even possible to live a life without offence? Today, we begin a three-part series digging into how Jesus wants His disciples to deal with offence and anger. Though it is impossible that offences won’t come, we pray that we would grow in becoming increasingly unoffendable.
