There was a Lebanese restaurant a few doors down from the salon I worked out back in the 80s. Are used to go there at least three times a week and always got the same thing. It was a beef patty and I can’t remember the name of it but it looks a lot like the chicken patty you just made. I think I may have to try that with beef as well. The chicken looked delicious and I love salads. Thanks for sharing all your amazing recipes!

I tried your recipe, and it's so good, which has made up my mind to cook this for my New Year's dish. This is my first trial to unite Lebanese culture with our Japanese tradition. We have been welcoming foreign cultures such as Western ones and Chinese ones to our own traditions to form our unique Japanese culture. Why can't I mingle Lebanese culture with Japanese traditions as our new culture. Thank you so much for your delicate recipes with love and care.

Update: Oh my that was wonderful, the cinnamon really does pair well with the chicken. My mother said, "This is another favorite!" Two thumbs up. Thanks again. :-)

I'm Armenian but my family is from Beirut; we call this "Luleh kebab" but like Lebanese this is originally with lamb, but the chicken is amazing and many would say even better. Also you don't need garlic at all and it will taste great also.

I imagine you still would need it minced/blended to a ground. But you should add some olive oil to reincorporate some fattiness.
