  • How do they make guitars this good, this cheaply? A quick review of this "budget" guitar that can keep up with the big boys with a few mods. Have you tried one? What do you think?

    What's the point of doing a quick review on this guitar.. and changing all the stock pickups 🤷🏻

      Its just one person's thoughts on the guitar. Take out of it what you want. Whats the point in your comment?

    Fantastic guitar….. like you said, blindfolded you would think you were playing something far more expensive…. Great necks…. Thanks for the vid 👍🏼

    I might buy one of these.
    Just about all of the reviews say, that these are great!

    Lace single coils are not stacked that was an assumption. They have a unique build and that is what makes them close to noiseless. If you took one part you will be amazed or confused.

    Bought one a few weeks back at the guitar show, the shell pink one, a great guitar, especially the neck. Ive bought locking tuners, a gotoh trem and a graphtech string tree. Its all being fitted by my tech on 9th april. Looking forward to that. Still deciding on new pups, but they’re definitely coming out. Cool vid man

    Had a chance to compare it with Sterling cutlasses and fender player strats.. This one blew me away how better it felt compared to more the expensive guitars. Shockingly good value/money.

    Before/after sounds would be more helpful as now we were listening new pickups, not Jet. But whatever.

      True, but the idea of doing this review only came to me after i done the upgrades. I guess this could also be a review of the pickups featured.
      There's plenty of "straight-out-of-the-box" reviews and demos on youtube to check out the guitar in its factory state.

      The ceramic pickups on the Jet are surprisingly good, have a lot of output for the dc resistance.

    I expecter a review with the original pickups,
    because that's what people will get, then everybody may upgrade it or not, with anything they like

      Sorry to disappoint you. This was a demo to show the potential of the guitar. If you want to hear the actual guitar you could search for those videos or, better still, play one for real in a music-shop. Similarly you will never really know what the neck and feel is until you try one yourself. This is just one opinion. Many users of this guitar have upgraded pickups so hopefully this demo may help there.

      @@SLATEB0Y I can't go to a music-shop that has Jet guitars, so Im going to buy one without having seen and played one. I have watched all the demos on YT :)
      , so I thank you for your own demo too.
      Maybe you could have done an A/B comparison with the pickups, anyway thanks again

      @@maxduke1943 thanks again for your comments. I should have done a before/after demo but didnt even plan on doing this one. Hopefully you can purchase from a shop where you have the option to return it if its not for you.

    Heel joint is rounded which is great but if it was tapered then it would be perfect.

    Very interested in this one. Great video. I hear it's a very fender esc neck feel. That right?

    • @SLATEB0Y
      @SLATEB0Y  8 месяцев назад +1

      For the price its great. I've played a few strats over the years all of which have different neck profiles, many of which i didnt like. I'd say this is very similar to the current Mexican Fender player series which i really like. Very comfortable but this is just one person's opinion. If you are unsure try one.

    What kind of pick ups u switched to?

    • @SLATEB0Y
      @SLATEB0Y  6 месяцев назад

      the pick-ups featured in the video are lace sensor golds for the single coils and a dimiarzio paf-pro for the bridge. Only fitted these as they were the only ones i had kicking around without obtaining some others.

      @@SLATEB0Y is there another neck and middle pickups that you would recommend that would sound the same as these tested that are cheaper in price?

    • @SLATEB0Y
      @SLATEB0Y  2 дня назад

      @@ramironunezjr i think the regular lace sensor pickups are cheaper and similar to the fender noiseless ones currently on the market. Unless you have a problem with noise and interference stick with traditional pickup (not noiseless) as there is some trade-off with tone, unlesse of course you like the tone of these tyoe of pickups. Sorry i cant recommend anything at this time.

      I have modded my Jet JS-300 and 400 extensively and though the overall cost is around 400.- for the complete guitar, there is NOTHING out there at that price that will come close to the feel and quality. Bang for buck comes to mind, being "cheap" suggests it is also a piece of s***.....🎸🤘🏼🎸
