Hey group,
Bit of a video reload this time. We’re back at it filming from the holiday break and NOLS WFR Training. We’ve a number of projects coming up, but it is hard to explain just how excited I am for this coming spring! With the creek producing stronger than it has in a decade and some prospective desert oasis... get ready for a ton of Primitive Survival!
For those wondering, this is my daughter Bre. For those wondering what Scouting looks like in 2019, this is exhibit A. If you can, help support your local Scouting groups, the world needs leaders more than ever these days. For the Bob Hansler Survival Cards made by Grim Workshop visit the link: grimworkshop.ositracker.com/88448/7156
Hope everyone is well this new year. Take care and as always...
Until Next Time,

I need to find more channels like this with young female to teach my daughter. She responds more to other girls teaching her
Just shared this to my 18yo.
Where do they forage that?
Same here
Look up Survival Lilly here on the Tube. There are several other young women doing survival Stull as well.
You should be proud of such an intelligent and beautiful young lady.
There is still hope for our younger generation. Be blessed brother.
I was kinda suprised to hear that was your daughter. I mean you still look young and I didn't expect you to have a full grown daughter.
Good to see that she likes such sort of things, hope you two enjoy your time together!
@@haconk hell i thought the same thing and i'm around your age as well.
STFU... No way . Bob looked 27 ... Woooah
FORWARD OBSERVER COMBAT VE
Wow I though she was his girl lol take it as a compliment Bob you look very young
Miranda Shepherd - I thought the same thing.
Bree is well informed and a pleasure to listen too. Great results Dad & love the added touch of Huck ! Thxs for sharing ❤️🚒🚒🚒🚒
San Antonio chiming in! I’m a city woman but one thing I appreciate is the outdoors. My folks would take us to the Hill Country to hike and do day camping trips. I continued that tradition into adulthood. Thx for sharing! Congrats to Bri!
Your kid has a very gentle aproch to teaching. Very clear and to the point. You must be very proud! My daughter is a month old and I hope to teach her the survival skills I pick up in my youth. Videos with your daughter maybe a useful tool in achieving that goal.
Hi Dad (Bob Hansler). your Daughter might well be the first on social media that will go all the way...cant wait to see her content.Taiwan here.
Dang bob, the snake bite turned u into a girl!!!!
BOB,,,,,,LOOKING GOOOOD !
@@usapatriotAK47-HollyBaglioHTV WOAHH, LOOKING COOL JOKER (Bob)
A really beautiful girl!
Lol
A very good looking girl.
As a young lady similar in age to your daughter, it’s really awesome to see others like me! Thank you for sharing!
The in Texas wilderness is so different from what I’m used to so I’m glad to learn something new.
Thanks again! Hope to see more of her!
She's a lovely young lady. Blessed to have a father like you.
I appreciate how peaceful, respectful of nature, appreciative of what Mother Earth has to offer, how informative and informed you, Bob and the rest are.
Reminds me of how Steve Irwin taught his children an appreciation for the wildlife around them.
Steve Irwin was a true outdoorsman and hero
Finally a young person who enjoys the outdoors instead of sitting in front of a computer all day or on a damn phone .i have 4 girls of my own and took them all hiking and camping since they where verey young. people now day just dont enjoy the simple things in life great video both of you thanks.
The irony ...
Sounds allot like me rn, lol
Denairix it depends what you do you can play games or be on your phone and be healthy just depends if you exercise
100% Agreed. I installed a minecraft mod so I can explore and it's really teaching me a lot about the outdoors and basic survival.
hot rod 218 hotrod 218 I'm forced onto just the computer in the winter here, Colorado gets too cold to do anything at all. I look forward to summer, though.
Great video!
She is a natural, very calm soothing voice.
She has real talent. I like her smooth approach. She's a natural in front of the camera...Good Job!!
Daddy and daughter time is precious. Once they get older, they’ll have good memories.
It's great to see Bre again. More father and daughter videos would be stellar! Wishing you and your family good health, Bob!
She is a natural at hosting! Lovely, smart young lady.
You teached your daughter well, sometimes harder than survival :) good job
I’m 19 and I really enjoyed watching this I wish I knew more young adults my age who like these types of activities!!! Thanks BOB and BREE for making my day
Pecan crusted grubs sautéed with wild onions. Mmmm gourmet survival food.
She sounds like the force is with her. She was taught well. She also speaks well and sounds great, no pauses or gaps when she talks and straight to the point. She would make a great biologist or doctor.
I enjoy outdoor activities .
you must be really proud! She comes across as informed and confident! That's one of the huge benefits of scouting in that it creates the most solid young purple on earth!
Awesome video, your daughter did a great job explaining the different foods and plants.
I feel a little stupid that I’m just now finding this channel. Finally!!!! A outdoors/survival channel based right here in my home state. Keep up the great work. Thank y’all for sharing your knowledge. Texas Forever!
Got my Bob Hansler Grim survival card with some backpacking gear for my birthday!
This is how you let your kids grow up, outdoors learning and loving nature, not stuck behind a screen trying to value themselves or other people. Great on you Bob!
Good to see you back. Your baby girl is growing up I bet you are one proud daddy
Please leave some food for bigfoot.
Much appreciated lol

Good to see younger folks, male or female, out in the woods or nature without a cellphone in one hand and a video game in the other.
Plus here we see a young female with wilderness skills and I am sure that Southern Charm..... well done to both parents.
Just ordered four! Thank you, Bree and Bob. We keep you all in our prayers.
Awesome awesome. Using them myself now. Enjoy the cards. More vids to come.
I found your channel through my younger daughter who loves learning from you. I’ve showed he everything she knows about surviving but I’m never against her learning more.Thank you for having such a child friendly channel. Keep it up.

Love you videos
Subscribe or not I don’t care
@@Ninja-os6qt I got that reference
@@thermal1580 Well, Bob gave him a heart and they did work together quite extensively, so how about instead making mean statements on RUclips, maybe consider there may be more to understand than what you think.
Beauty and brains that’s the WOW factor! Nice you got her official training. That’s a life time of knowledge. Will stay with her forever.
@6:59 TRUE WORDS, I have often said this to others who visit in the “winter” lol winter as if.
I just found this channel today, can not take my eyes off of it. Best wishes to you!
This lady is amazing, so much knowledge!
I LOVE HUCK!
łemon zest Who doesn't?
Looks like a neat place to live, informative video, thanks!
It's really nice to see you again young lady. You do a great job and it's clear to see your dad has taught you well.
I love wild onions! And once I got the bright idea to eat a acorn, I tasted like soap;
Great video! Awesome seeing Bree follow in your footsteps and help out with the channel. As an EMT and Wilderness EMT I can say the skills and training she received will be invaluable later in life. Awesome job in the card, you guys really went the extra mile on it
My heeler has the same expressions when I pet him. Lol. Congrats on her current and future accomplishments. Your a lucky dad. My two boys are grown. Ones a doctor and the other ones a firefighter/paramedic. I miss them after they moved out.
Huck.. Such a great name for a lifelong Friend.
Very impressive, great knowledge. I showed my daughter's the video & now I can't keep them inside. Keep up the good work...👍👍
Huck needs his own youtube channel... :)
That dog is so chilled!
Buck is the man!!!
My young heeler is extremely mischievous and headstrong... she's a good dog though and I hope she calls down like Huck. Enjoy your posts.
Great vid as always, hang on. Stay strong! And yeah, take every minute you can with ur daughter.
Thanks!
Nice to see young people know something or two about outdoors
You remind me of the man I was named after. He could walk thru Texas and name every plant and knew its uses . He gave his thesis on his death bed over the phone . He had a masters in anthropology when he passed. Watching your videos reminds me of him thank you
Good video Bob, congrats on raising a such an intelligent and polite woman.. Always love you vids. All the best from Australia
Spring will be awesome, my favourite season ^^.
Glad to hear your daughter is doing so well. Thanks for the info!
What a beautiful girl - and so SMART! I hope my 20 year old boy finds one just like you! And, special thanks to you and your pops for educating people on topics that are specific to Texas. Many of the plants y'all eat or use are common up here in North Texas as well.
I should do one of these in northern Ontario, Canada; would be easy. Here is snow, you can eat it but it will lower your body temperature and kill you. This is bark, it will also probably kill you. Good luck lol. Good video I'm just being silly.
Lol
Wait till it's moose running season just for bonus points. XD
@@r4microds moose _rutting_ season. And it's no joke. They'll bend you over a barrel and knock your bells off. Ting a ling a ling.
It's not that bad in AB. We have snow, AND bark. Also there is snow covered bark. If you look really hard though, there is also pine needles that you can make a very nice tea out of that only occasionally gives you intense intestinal discomfort followed by 3 hours of projectile diarrhea with difficulty controling body temperature.
I once heard someone say you can always forage for the calorie dense "yellow snow" covered bark, but I've yet to find any. Good luck surviving out there in the Canadian winter! And remember, if you dig yourself a snow drift shelter, you get the benefit of being partially buried when you die of hypothermia!
No to forget the long green stem, at the top of yucca plants . Can be processed into food, I got that from a Bob hansler video.😂
Bob, just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your channel. You seem like a good hearted person. It was refreshing to see your daughter as well. She is very knowledgeable and beautiful, you did great with her! Keep up the great things you do 👍😎🌵
I need her on my camping trips! She knows alot !
Bree did awesome Bob. Lots of good edibles.
Heck yea fill that young ladies head full of that wonderful knowledge, and thanks for sharing with us.
I've learned a lots here with you and Huck, Bob. Thanks for sharing.
I'm very pleased to see a new video from you Bob Hansler. Judging from the comments your daughter is a perfect co-host with a progressive following of her own. Best wishes my friend.
Haha short sleeve shirt in the Texas winter... Sounds about right lol
Nice upload, Bri! You're a trooper just like your daddy.
Well done "Dad" Your young lady grew up with Knowledge. She won't be dependent on anyone but God. Living Life the way it's supposed to be. And with the First Responder training someone out there just may find themselves thankful of that as well. God Bless
She needs to get her own channel.
Right on, Bree! Good going!
Nice video well presented Bre nice to see you both , looking forward to more videos thumbs up as always, Bob hope you are on the mend 👍👋👌🇬🇧
So glad to see content on the channel.
Wow ! Bre u have a great knowledge as ur father.Huck is a wonderful guardian.👍
Hey! Good to see you back in action, even if it is a reload! Your daughter did an excellent job on the wild edible portion of the video. Looking forward to a great 2019. God bless!
Awesome vid up in Mn we just hunt for chaga in the winter and ice fish but come spring we get a lot of foraging in. Love the vid
So wild versions of everything we can buy at the grocery store.
Taking after her dad good job
Short sleeves in the winter. Yeah Texas looks rough this time of year lmao
Lol well we don't really have "winters" here. Especially in South texas.
I noticed that too. Plus, lots of green leaves. In Dallas and Lubbock areas, it snows in winter.
I’m in North Texas. We have days when you can wear short sleeves. We also have days you better bundle up.
I learn soo much from these videos keep up the dream work guys
I liked it when she was walking away
Glad to see you and Bree back. I hope your health is better now Bob
Doggo is cute!
That dog is my favorite
You guys always make me feel like I want to be out there with my dog
Well done Bree. Love your vids and keep up the great work. Keep learning my dear you’ll shine as bright as Bob.
