It was a wonderful event...I sat with Jerome's mom and dad near ringside...was a total honor to be with them..such great people. The after fight party was great , Master Ishi was quite the host and Hunt is a true champion.
That fight was insane! They both looked good and although it was a win for le Banner it was a win for both of them but the real winner were the fans for getting to see that fantastic fight!
Banners chin is what kept him in both fights with Hunt. I've never seen anybody take Hunt shots like Banner has and still be standing. In the 2001 fight Banner took like 4 solid shots that would have KO'd anybody else. Insane

Le Banner's such a warrior, i don't watch much of K1 but every time i see him he's just getting smashed haha. I was hoping Hunt would turn this one around but Le Banner earned this win. Awesome match.

what are you talking about? jerome is 3-1 against hunt and the only times when hunt did anything to jerome was when he caught him here in the second round with that punch and when he caught him in the GP fight after getting his ass kicked. Other than those two moments he was getting his as kicked in all the 4 fights they had.

MH has good technique, esp punching tech. and he also has some good head moves that allow him to hide his devastative uppercuts. If this is what you mean, than fine, for sure his footwork is below his punching technique
God, I loved K1. MMA is pretty fun, but K1 had you see the same opponents fight each other up to 5 times. I think Le Banner fought PEter Aerts 3 or 4 times, Ernesto Hoost and Semmy Schilt more than 3 times. He fought Mark Hunt four times and the final score was JLB 3 - 1 Mark Hunt. You very rarely see the same guys in UFC/MMA fight each other more than twice.
