@@Eylandertile I was just curious cause everyone talks about ardex x5 and the next grade up from x 5,in my location no one has ardex or the kind you used for that job, I wasn't referring to if I use that kind of thinset my job would turn out as good as that by no means just I was kinda thinking you use ardex since you are out west, I'm in rural south Alabama and the local supplies are limited to Mapei and custom building products and Schluter all set, I am doing my first job with 5x5 fish scales around a tub and struggling to fold the corners, I am off about a 1/4 inch and even though I made a template out of foam board to help cut the fish scales it's still not working great for me , thanks
