    Thank you for the great video. It's a very helpful tutorial for CFDEM simulation community. What I'm interested to simulate using this method, and I'm sure many more people are also interested in, is the metal laser additive manufacturing (3D printing) process. That would be great if you could include the simulation of a pulsed laser on a very thin layer of powders. Thank you and keep up great work!

    What i noticed in such videos is that all cases are studying cfd on small parts/components. I’m trying to visualize a pipe network (closed system) and i would like model the network and do the cfd on it. Can i do with your help? Please? It would be a great content for your video as well and will add on to your experience. For me I’ll be learning a lot through this process.

    Hi Sir, I have a question about the "sjkr" and "epsd2" models. Every time I use these models, it notifies me to add them to the whitelist. It seems that these models are not applicable by default. Could you please show me how to deal with this issue?

    • @engineerdo6568
      @engineerdo6568  2 года назад

      Hey Bo,
      you dont have to worry about the message too much. The models are activated. To get them in the white list, the installation process might be slightly different. We may consider this.
      Cheers, Engineerdo

    Can i read and use the current position of the particles (x,y,z) from the dump file in the code? If yes how?

    • @engineerdo6568
      @engineerdo6568  3 года назад +1

      Yes Sonu, you can. The positions are in the *.liggghts dump file which I am changing in this tutorial to vtk. You can read them by opening a result file with a text editor. The other option is to use PARAVIEW and select a spreadsheet view instead of a 3d view. Both options are very easy to use.

      @@engineerdo6568 thank you for your reply..... but I can see the positions printing there . I want to use them for my code as a variable for ex I want to use the position z of the particles and make it as a function of some boundary in my code. Is it possible to do that... currently I am using compute all property/atom command for that but with that i can only use the one particles positions but I want to make all particles positions as a function of my boundary
