HOW TO RECOVER GOLD FROM CELL PHONES
how much gold is in a cell phone.
People are just amazed when they hear that there is gold on mobile phones also.
Gold is a precious, conductive, and pliable metal that retains a stable value better than many commodities. Its chemical properties make it useful for the manufacture of computers parts and electronics. Some people find it profitable to attempt to extract the gold from these scraps, then refine and sell it. This complicated process requires chemical expertise as well as access to various chemistry equipment. However, with the right knowledge, experience and tools, you can remove valuable gold from computer parts, other discarded electronics. This video clip shows you that Cell Phones there is real gold.

You can find online stores to find gold stripping. But the most important is Sodia Cyanide. Some countries do not use and are rare.

The gold stripper is available at a store. But what he's using is called UW-860, manufactured by a Taiwanese company called 'UWin Nanotech, Inc". Supposed to be cyanide free, so I don't know how strong or effective it will prove to be. As far as the environmental concerns, the earth spits out far more noxious fumes per day and at much greater quantities than what you would be emitting in the air. This was a very good video, done in the "How it's Made" TV show manner.

This is a good thing. Even if people think it's a waste of time you are also recycling materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Everything should be recycled if possible. Even the plastic parts can be shredded and reused for many purposes. I've seen people use shredded plastics for insulation, for example.

I’m all in for recycling as much as possible & I found your video to be very interesting, however, I’m curious to know how much the extraction process costs as no one ever mentions this in their videos. I’m assuming the chemicals used in the extraction process aren’t cheap to buy but considering the small amounts of each of them that were used during the extraction process the costs involved in the entire process may not equate to much. So I would love to know does the total value of extracted gold exceed the costs involved in the extraction process & if so, by how much?… because you also need to consider the cost on the environment from the use of such harsh chemicals in the extraction process.
I’m not trying to be negative or anything, I just really want to know if it’s worth it more so on an environmental level due to the chemicals that are required to successfully extract the gold.

I never did this before. I'm just saying because I have some boards to extract gold from and it looks like some steps can be shortened with just one acid solution then a precipitator. Also can the boards be burned in a fire? When cooled add the Aqua Regia to dissolve the gold?

Very interesting. Seems like a hell of a lot of work though for just one gram of gold. Being that 1 gram of gold today is worth approximately $57, I'm not sure if that is worth the labor and hours it takes for that much. Not everyone has that kind of time anyhow. Still very interesting though. I wonder if the fact that they use gold plating inside these devices is part of the reason why they cost so much to buy? Like why an iPhone will set you back at least 600 or 800 dollars or so.

The chemicals are cheap. You can get nitric acid from Amazon at $18 for 500ml or $25 for a liter. And you don't need to buy chemicals every time you want to strip a PC or cel phone. If you really want to skimp and go total low budget, any chemical can be found through processing some other element. Look up car batteries and you'll get an idea.

He did use it, thats what was in the video. I wouldn't recommend blind people trying out this process, it might be kind of dangerous if you cant see what you're doing when handling sulfuric acid.
