Observation after 1.5years18000km: Problems- Stiffer suspension/Chain Noise/Faulty sensor lights(It's just keeps popping up randomly)/4Ah Battery so you'll think again before adding aftermarket accessories Likes- Looks(Man you'll surely look back after parking even after 1.5years I still do the same )/Instrument cluster has everything you need/Torque initial pickup is really good/Smooth Gear Shift /Breaking (It saved my life more than once .On hard breaking bike performs stoppie which is cool for me)/ Build quality (After 3 several Crash it has only body scratches even the plastic parts refused to break or crack).. You need to have good knowledge in bike's parts before buying any bajaj bikes(I don't know about other companies though) bcz according to their service centres service=Oil change+oil filter change and if any problem arise obd update ..so you have to tell them what work you wish to get it done otherwise they'll never rectify your problem...Even I stopped going to service centre after 3rd free service now I'm doing it in my friend's garage as per ny need...

I'm shocked at 150rs service cost, 800ml engine oil cost @ around 400rs, definitely engine oil was not changed, engine oil is most important for good performance of engine & clutch
After riding 2500km on this bike Cons Seat comfort is bad in long rides. Handle hurts the palms becoz it's aggressive posture. Digital console doesn't always shows right gear( show 0 but actually in 1st gear). Engine light gets on without any issue. Pros It gives me 50+ avg in. Ahmedabad City easily. Dual abs is the best feature of this bike. Projector headlight in this bike is the best while riding in night. Overall pleasant experience You can definitely go for this bike if you are looking in 160cc segment Arguably the best bike in this segment. The cons I've mentioned can be solved by doing minor modifications.

1. Put ppf for black n160 2. Indicator vibration is common beacuse it shall have flexible indicators and ride quality is good in this bike 3. Reageding back mudgaurd if u ride within 45kmph you will not face that mud splash
1) why should i spend another sum of money on PPF if i already paid a huge sum of money to bajaj who should have used better paint. 2) even super splendor doesn't have such problems. 3) i definitely didn't pay so much money to ride at 40-45

i have n250 and the rear suspension of n250 is very responsive, in every speed breakers and potholes suspension works awesome i don't know why n160 have a very stiff rear suspension.

Yes, facing the same issue, what I have noticed is that after engine warms up the gear becomes smooth, though it takes time. Sometimes it straight comes to 1st gear from 2nd without hitting neutral, but sometimes when I want neutral from 2nd it comes very smoothly but only when the engine is hot.

September 2022 se N160 ka owner hu but inme se 1 bhi problem mujhe nahi aaya. Except chain noise. Kabhi kabhi kisi kisi bike pe yeh manufacturing defect aa jate hai. Aur maintanence par bhi depend karte hai. Mere hisab se mast bike hai. Le sakte ho jise pasand hai. Segment leading torque hai isme. Pahad pe chadhne mein bhi koi problem nahi aati.
@@marufurrahmanabir9642 not really. It can't be solved permanently but you can reduce the chain noise upto 80-90 %. You just need to buy a "T rench" to open the front sprocket cover, and then clean the front sprocket as well as the whole chain and then lube it with a good lubricant ( I use diesel for cleaning and Motul C2 for lube ). You have to maintain the chain including sprockets ( both front and rear) in every 500 -600 kms regularly. And if your chain is too loose you have to tighten it by a machanic. After all these your chain noise will be reduced upto 80-90% and then it won't irritate.
I am new for pulsers/Bajaj ... I have Honda shine, and shine has much issues with powering in the rainy season. And water gets in from tank. When starting after 2-3days follow these steps once - 1. Turn On the Key. 2. Turn on the ignition switch. 3. Let the fuel pump run and stop. 4. Turn off the switch and turn it on again to run the pump again. 5. Do it for 3 - 4 times to build the fuel pressure on the line. 6. Make sure the headlight switch is in off position. 7. Press self start. If Battery is ok it will start by taking one little long self....

Indian bike brands make good motorcycle and even the spares are cost effective compared to other countries one of the main problem is service some service people dont have knowledge and iam not judging them because the company should provide proper knowledge about each and every part of the bike like training and give them the proper tools like torque wrench etc and tell them to handle the bikes gently example like over tightening the bolts etc they don't have any loss but we the owners lose the money. My conclusion is that indian motorcycle brands should improve more in service rather than focusing on only selling because if the servicing is good the bikes automatically sell more.

I am gonna change the rear shock, have a plan to install rtr 1604v or Honda Unicorn Rear shock, lets see which one mathes the length. This rear shock is Bullshit. Throws you out of the seat, on high-speed its very risky one of your vehicle is not loaded. This shock starts working after putting 70kg person on back. If you are riding single then beware of breakers, bumps etc. Saddling is the only option then.

Clutch problem also happened to a youtuber there is nut below which holds clutch wire. You can try replacing it , it might help 🙂

Indian bike brands make good motorcycle and even the spares are cost effective compared to other countries one of the main problem is service some service people dont have knowledge and iam not judging them because the company should provide proper knowledge about each and every part of the bike like training and give them the proper tools like torque wrench etc and tell them to handle the bikes gently example like over tightening the bolts etc they don't have any loss but we the owners lose the money.
My conclusion is that indian motorcycle brands should improve more in service rather than focusing on only selling because if the servicing is good the bikes automatically sell more.

I am gonna change the rear shock, have a plan to install rtr 1604v or Honda Unicorn Rear shock, lets see which one mathes the length. This rear shock is Bullshit. Throws you out of the seat, on high-speed its very risky one of your vehicle is not loaded. This shock starts working after putting 70kg person on back. If you are riding single then beware of breakers, bumps etc. Saddling is the only option then.
