This song just articulated my entire heart right now, I’m bawling my eyes out. Pray for me I’m backslidden and I can’t seem to stay disciplined… I was on fire for God for years, and since I am getting divorced, all the daily duties, loneliness… has cause me to backslide to old ways. I found a new wonderful man, but I find myself relying on him and not God…. I can’t even believe I could ever feel this far from God I’m shocked at how much I’ve slid back…. When I found God I never in a million years thought I’d ever lose the fire…. I even run a Christian hair salon called ministry salon… and I find myself preaching less and less about God… I’m doing nothing for the kingdom. My finances are struggling, my prayer life is struggling and for sure I never thought I’d forget to pray…. Morning or night, or over food… sometimes I feel that God isn’t even listening to me…. I’m scared because I know the times we are in, and do I really have oil in my lamp? Please pray for me and my daughter, and my boyfriend who is planning to give his life to Jesus.

What is everyone interpretation on this song?

Someone who has nothing left to live for, is looking to the Lord to help him, not for the first time, he just wants to know where to go next, he wants to do better, he wants to be better, but he needs help.
