Today i'm checking out the new abilities that the Amargasaurus got after the Nightstalker update and beyond.
The goal here is to push it to it's limits .

When you were fighting the Ano, megs and pachy. It's times like this , we needed the pycnos help.
I bet the Ano and megs found out you were a RUclipsr when speaking to Velbell, and then came in full force to kill you.
As for mixpacking, I don't know what the point is in playing a Dino survival game, if they just want to get kills, can just play an FPS deathmatch.
Sadly, the devs promote such a playstyle while categorizing as dinosaur survival game
The croc rocketing out of the water like that was magnificent to behold. 😂 I watched Yellowtones spend over an hour trying to perfect it. Apparently, it's extremely difficult to pull off.

I did kill 2 mega and that cringy ano :3 but uh as I said on discord they brought I think 1 spino, 1 duck, 3 sty’s, 2 birds, and a couple other things for just my cera and my 2 Kent friends XD they trash talked a lot hehe. But having to bring out a whole army for 3 mid tiers says something about them :/
U forgot to mention you dragged more than 3 players over to try get revenge but just fed the group.

I used to be scared at sarcos, but after the nerf I now love toying sarcos. Especially using my Deinocheirus
I hate how they nerfed its hp lol it shouldn’t be THAT squishy, it’s a croc. Crocs are tanky, not squishy.
@@dtbrex08I'd rather have a tanky croc and no ambush or much less damage and a much longer cd on it. I'm more afraid of Crocs now then ever, even though I rarely see them. That ambush hurts bad my adult stego took a hit while drinking and it instantly brought me to half health.

Great video again, thank you! Was really impressed with those pycnos. How nice to see such behavior on official servers. Thank you for sticking with them. I know community servers must be tempting for fair game, but it's so rewarding to see that players on officials are not all toxic. I do have similar experiences but this pycno case was a great example to see! :)

Another amazing video. Was shocked at the large pycno group but ran into a similar group before. No idea if they were the same players or not. They started to attack me and my friend on concs but our other friend was a pycno and begged them to stop. They immediately did when they realised we were grouped with a pycno. They were a pretty chill group :)
Glad it's out. You've motivated me to play official again after running around with your duck. So been growing dinos on gondwa now have a couple sub and adolescent I've not already grown on panjura. The fight you mentioned was enjoyable to watch.

Great Fights Krawl 😊Lone Survivor is a fantastic ability for Attack and Speed Amarga to making you feel a lot tankier while getting the benefit of passive damage and Bleed damage something Defense doesn’t have except for your headbutt dealing bleed

Amarg is so underrated
It's a worthless Dino to grow lol. Everything that can kill you can catch up to you. One Rex bb n ur dead. Doesn't deal enough dmg for how big of a Dino it is too.

It’s unfortunately very weak. It needs a huge buff to be viable
It can kill apex if done right and they play badly. Killed gifa and metri at same time. Although if apex player is good it will kill an Amarg.

Amargasaurus is my favorite dinosaur and I love playing them in POT.
How you deal with Rex ? You cant outrun them and with bb you just dead.
Its even worse with Giga and Carcha on community server, i try to play amarg but i cant do anything against apex
@@Rafale01 They can't make a dino that is good against everything else.
It has to have a weakness or else everyone would just play Amarg lol.
The Amarg is a very strong dino but it's weakness is against the Apexes and other Top tier herbivores so this means, Rex, Spino, Eo, Duck, Bars.
The way to survive is to maintain a good distance between you and the other dino. The Amarg has more stamina than almost everything else in the game.
All the top tiers have less stamina than Amarg so if you can maintain a good distance , they will be forced to spend almost all of their stamina just to reach you so even if they manage to get to you and get a few bites on you, they will run out of stamina before they kill you and you will have enough stamina to keep running for such a long time that they will never reach you again.
Pretty much the same as i did when i ran from the Spino in this video.

Official servers are not as bad as some make them out to be. I have no life and I'm playing a lot, always in officials and while I do typically see stuff going down negatively there's always those who are decent. To say officials is bad because of the wild nature of the servers is like throwing the baby out with the bath water imo.
I don't struggle on officials because I have more of a survival mindset and know when to run- I won't let others shame me for running with my life as a real creature would when outmatched. Playing rex and the like solo on officials can be tough, anything fast or with lone survivor is crazy good for solo play, and learn to love the green skins.
I think at this point if I played officials I would get complacent, relax and not play as well to be honest. I like officials 😎

Its people like those megs and ano that ruin official servers, I get its a pvp but when theres a 1v1 happening which was organised in GLOBAL then stay tf out of it, and I bet they were saying "Ezzz amarg and cera" when you died, glad I moved to a semi realism server where that stuff doesnt happen

Yes, crocs grew wings now. Also, if you want to have fun with metri next time, you should bring friends. I remember being in a trio and we were deadly. And just so you know, your videos are amazing and so are you.

As an amarg main on official I agree with most of your assessments. The only thing to fear are apexs and the only apex which can kill me before I can out stam it is the rex. You need to get into that stomp though, it is an amazing ability. Head to head with a sarco you can stomp it to half health on a lunge if you are facing it. Also while your legs and head are up, you barely take any damage as they can only hit your rear and front feet. I feel most people underestimate the amarg because the other 2 sub species are far too fragile for such a slow dino. But the def amarg is a sheer tank which can take a lot of damage and it’s attacks have a wide range and radius. You can easily exchange blow for blow on any dino, even the fast ones and there isn’t an area of your body which you cannot reply from.

And yeah i know i need to get good with the stomp lol.
I failed several attempts and missed many opportunities but when i did successfully hit with it, i could see or feel like it did anything.
The two times i stomped the megs, it didn't show more damage on it and the meg didn't vocalize anything in response to being hit either so i wasn't even sure if it worked.
@@KrawllUnchained From my experiance you only get the feedback from contact with the front feet but not from the AOE dmg. But i've used it enough to know I've done dmg. It's best to use it with timed head-on attacks like a pycno's charge or a sarco lunge. If they attack you head-on always stomp it :)
crocs can straight up fly with the lunge, yellowtones was trying to master it last month i think it was, i'd probably fly too high and die to fall damage on the landing 🤣
Yesterday my family and I played a Amarga herd and people in chat called all of us stomping around “the drums of war”

Also sarco's can jump out of the water, but I believe they have to use a rock to do it? Its hard to pull off for sure.
Also that battle with the ano, pachy, and megs was nuts. So much coming at you. They def underestimated ya even if you did die.
I have a paid subscription to Epidemicsound.com and i take most of my music from them.
Sometimes i use Tunetank.com as well.
Sarcos can lunge out the water, if they angle their camera correctly. Yet- it's WAY harder for the sarco to breach the water unlike the Kai
I was so excited for this one!! And you didn't disappoint, some great fights there. Shame the sarco at the beginning was a coward and would barely come out the water and face you, lol. The 1v1 was going great, looking forward to a rematch with Vel ;p That group with the ano and the megs were really annoying, do you really need a whole gang to take out one amarg? I kept thinking, use the stomp on those megs! But then you mentioned at the end that you're not super fond of the stomp, lol. It does do pretty good damage if you manage to land it, it's just so freaking slow to hit. Once again, you've proven that amarg is a tank and can really hold its own against anything except the apexes! I'm excited to see what dinosaur you'll revisit next.

Yes there were a few times while rewatching my footage where i was thinking why the hell didn't i use the stomp right there, it would've been a perfect hit...
But then on most of those occasions, i then realized i didn't have stam due to the venom and i need stam to use stomp 😅

@@rappsface The game is failing at making that impact believable.
Like, you see the impact, you can see the AoE but i didn't hear the lizard make a noise as they normally do when they take damage and i didn't see any patches of blood appear on it's body.
So i could see the impact but i couldn't feel it at all, if that makes sense.
@@KrawllUnchained No I totally agree, I feel the same way whenever I use it on amarg, it never feels like it connects even when it does, it's extremely frustrating.
The sarco wasn’t a coward he just isn’t stupid enough to go on land where he has a major disadvantage

i just suprisingly took down 2 sarcos and a spino as my defense amarg
Didint watch yet but; i see its gonna be a great video AAND u can walk while using the amargas stomp its the only AOE attack that works

I never choose charged bb on anything unless i have to. If ano had normal bb he couldv got you in thoery anyway.
i really hate it when people dont honour a 1v1 and randoms get involved after you've agreed to a fair fight with someone. i love the amarg too
Spinos should not be able to keep up with an amarg. 4 legs vs 2 stubby ones…and spino probably weighs more ugh. And the sarco breach is a glitch/bug, not intended by the devs
It's ok though, as we saw in the video, the Spino can't keep up long enough to kill the Amarg. 🙂

I try not to make the spoilers reveal too much though.
Those short clips are important for such long videos because most people see 1:30 hours long videos and they'll just click away but with the preview in the beginning, they can see some of the funny bits or action bits that the video has.
Plus those previews shows a lot about the quality that i'm trying to offer so people can make an informed decision from the first two minutes whether they want to keep going or not.
My regular viewers who are returning know what kind of video they're about to watch and might not need those previews but new viewers watching one of my videos for the first time are getting a lot of value from those.
Funny, I use the exact same skin on my amarga. I've thought about using other more colorful ones but I just can't bring myself get rid of such good camo.
Yeah i like this one a lot more than most of the other colorful ones too 🙂

I seriously don't recommend trying to fight a full grown rex with the Amarg. You can hurt them for sure but you will probably lose.
I recommend to keep your distance, make them waste as much stam as you can when they try to get to you.
You can outstam them easily if you can maintain a good distance between them and you but since they're faster than you, if you wait too long before you start running, they could catch up to you.

But Yeah i was thinking most if it already is close to you or you notice it too slow, it most likely kills the amarg:(( But honestly now with the recent Rex nerf(recent Hahha, not that recent But Yeah) maybe amarg could kill the rex, if the rex is a meh player! I for sure Will play amarg now more often!
@@geometrydashjonte2634 My money would still be on the rex in a pure 1v1 but if the amarg has at least one friend like another Amarg or an Iggy or Lamb, then the rex is lights out.
Yeah the only problem is if you get swarmed by more than four carnivores, then you're toast
Hey krawll, just a heads up that metri has changed or it is planned to be. It's bigger and stronger(in the future), has so many healing calls and buff calls, and is now a 3 slot. But the thing that i can confirm most of is that as a metri main, i am happy and i will play metri 10x more now. Have a good day. If you wanna make a new metri, make it after the next update. Metri is now gondwa's lambeo-allo hybrid.

Yes, the baby should have hid somewhere before the Pycnos arrived and the big Eo should've put his back to a rock and i kept hoping that he would figure it out but he didn't.
The two of us could've covered a 45 degree angle with our back to a rock and we would've caused several pycnos to retreat to heal.
I could tell both of them were inexperienced.

I enjoy the challenge from Official servers.
I feel more accomplished and more satisfied when i reach adult in a challenging environment.
I also prefer to experience the game the way that it was intended by the devs.

I've killed an adult Spino as an Amarg. Don't underestimate the amarg.
This must be before stomp had AOE, cause that cera wouldve been obliterated with a couple stomps

No the stomps had the AoE but i found it to be pretty underwhelming when i tried it and it was costing stam to use it too so i was being very conservative about using it and sometimes i wanted to use it but i was out of stam.
I know how to make a sarco fly its ez to do it idk why ppl don’t know how to do it but its hard to kill when you’re flying
Pc players can strafe... they need to change console controls to allow us this as well makes a huge diff in some fights.

The Spino told me in chat afterwards that he only wanted to watch the fight but i wasn't willing to risk it. I've been betrayed too often to trust anyone at this point but still, i still managed to embarrass this Ano by slapping it several times while he couldn't do anything to me in a 1v1.
To me this was satisfaction enough.😉

I mean, i've done it on occasion but in this case i was in a good position to use my tail instead which means he took way more damage than i did.
Which is better damage or defense？
I've only ever played defense.
I love defense cuz you still do decent damage and you can take hits like a tank.
I really don't know if damage is good or not but some people swear by it too.

I would enjoy amarga if it was at least as fast as spino on land. What is the point of high stamina if everything, including freaking semi-aquatics can catch up to you and kill you by outspeeding you on land. Amarga is a terrestrial animal. It should outspeed semi-aquatics... I would also enjoy it more if its tail attack did more damage and could hit smaller targets reliably. Then things wouldnt just... run for its butt without proper punishment. Or give tail attack some bleed as well. Whips hurt. They tear up flesh. Makes sense it causes bleed on a sauropod.
The high stamina allows you to outstam almost everything, even things faster than you.
But you have to make sure you don't let them get close to you.
This way they waste a ton of stamina just to get to you and by the time they reach you, they're almost out of stam already while you can still run forever before having to take a break. They'll never catch you.
The challenge is to keep them at a distance and always be aware of your surroundings.
Every game has to have a challenge.

@@NLance Look at the Amarg, it doesn't look like something that would be able to go fast.
It's super tanky, it can take a lot of punishement, it does very decent bleed damage, it can hold it's own in a 1 VS Multiple for along time.
It's only weakness is it's slow speed.
It doesn't suck at everything except stamina.
It's good at everything except speed.
@@KrawllUnchained Things kill it. It is a well known meal on 4 limbs, mate. Everything can kill it. This is why so few play it. It is not 'good in everything but speed'. It is 'bad in everything but stamina'. It is proven time and time again. It is just a horrible choice from the devs having added it.
Imagine you conserve your stamina and a freaking spino ambushes you from the pond loooong meters away. It not only catches up to you even if you run the opposite direction full speed but it will be able to keep up long enough to kill you (well if you dont use double defense it is a 100% death. If you use double defense, then you are left with a sliver of HP. Does this mean literally every other build is pointless? Oh another weakness to add, then, if it is only playable in a mediocre way as double defense).
Amarga is NOT tanky. Or at least not as tanky as you think it is. Barely surviving a spino ambush coming from miles away is not going to make amarga a good playable. It just showcases its extreme shortcomings. Tail strikes way too high as well to hit smaller animals, etc. It just a horrible animal. I would vote to have it removed.

I don't disagree with you, however it's easy to spot mistakes while watching a youtube video.
It's way different when you're in the moment and you can't really predict what is going to happen, you can't know if anyone else is about to come from behind and you're trying to save your HP as best as you can.
Plus i had only ever played Amarg once before making this video and that was months before making this video so it's not like i'm an experienced Amarg player.

Also, i'm assuming you know stomp uses stamina right ? The moments where stomp would've been the best thing to use, i was affected by venom, or did you miss that part?

I really don't see the weakness you're talking about.
The only weakness i see is the speed which can be worked around with a little bit of situational awareness.
It's got pretty good damage, pretty nasty bleed, it's more tanky than any other Dino i've played including the current Rex.
I see people complaining that it's still bad against Apexes and to that all i have to say is that the Amarg isn't an Apex, it's not even a top tier so if what you want is for it to be able to kill apexes, you're being unreasonable.
It's good against anything it's own size or smaller unless it's being outnumbered which again, just like with apexes, if you're wanting for a single Amarg to win again whole packs of dino's you're still being unreasonable.
I love playing the Amarg, it's one of my favorite dino's to play.
The only thing which is annoying while playing it is you can't chase anything cuz everything is faster than you so you can't finish your kills when something attacks you and realizes they can't win, it's easy for them to escape.
Can't have everything, having everything is called "Overpowered".
I understand the basis of the game and how some people play on officials however they want, but holy hell, I wish people had a little more respect when they're outright told its 1v1. 🙄 It's frustrating watching you and Velbell get interrupted.
In a way yes it was a little annoying but on the other hand, this whole encounter became a very cool one 🙂
I was there that day to try and push my Amarg to it's limits and surviving this long against so many opponents gave me a very good idea of what my Amarg could handle.😄

At 36:00 im honored that we made it into your video, our group was gonna leave u alone to duel until velbel threatened group members. And after your defeat velbel beought reinforcements to avenge you, sadly, they got crushed, we lost maybe 4 or 5 dinos and killed 25 in that server alone
why did you attack them if velbel was the problem?
Trophies for younger group members and safety for them
@@adinosaur2708 we literally cleared out greenhills and killed velbell and other fans who thought they were gonna do something to our group, over and over they dropped, hense the 25 bodies, we stayed in greenhills, they came after us 🤷♂️

Amarg is still pretty trash against apex, you cant do anything.
The Amarg shouldn't be able to fight off an Apex by itself but i'm sure if you have 2 or 3 Amargs on one Apex, they can bring it down fairly easily.
Also, a solo Amarg can easily escape due to it's almost infinite Stamina.
You just have to make sure you don't allow an Apex to come close.
Make them spend all their stamina just to get to you, then escaping becomes super easy.
