  • Across the vast Asian continent, temples and sanctuaries stretch out in harmony with the land, their horizontal lines reflecting a deep connection to nature and the living world. At their core lies an intricate geometry inspired by the cosmos, the elements, and the human form-a fusion of spirituality and design that transcends time.
    In Myanmar, this connection reaches its zenith. The Shwedagon Pagoda, gilded with nearly 60 tons of gold, rises as a beacon of faith and devotion, shimmering under the sun. Its spire points to the heavens, yet its base remains firmly rooted in the earth-a symbol of the link between the divine and humanity. Meanwhile, the plains of Bagan, with their breathtaking expanse of over 2,000 ancient temples, showcase an unparalleled architectural legacy. These temples, born of devotion and ambition, reflect a civilization’s desire to immortalize its beliefs in stone and art.
    This profound bond between humanity and the cosmos, visible in Asia’s sacred structures, invites us to marvel not only at the beauty of these monuments but also at the resilience and creativity of the civilizations that built them. From the serene plains of Bagan to the golden splendor of Shwedagon, these sacred spaces stand as timeless testaments to the spiritual quest for harmony with the universe.

      Not real Theravada, original Theravada had no images of Buddha..that came from Mahayana.

      @@saddha1 Whats so important abt images?
      Images are a nice dipiction of Buddha and its very nice; It makes someones mind calm; comeout from ur abrahmic thinking; Its these illogical abrahmic religions that brings stupid laws.

    • @saddha1
      @saddha1 Месяц назад

      @@silentkiller421 no, very smart laws. The images are disrespectful since Buddha himself said he is not found in any form, feeling, perception…etc. forcing people to actually study his teachings and not make silly offerings to statues- it’s an insult to him with people destroying and beheading statues which is why Buddhists fell behind.
      Early Buddhists only depicted him through his footprints or the Bodhi tree.

    Your sentiment reflects both the beauty and the tragedy of Myanmar. Myanmar (Burma) is indeed a country of breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and incredibly kind-hearted people. From the majestic Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon to the serene beauty of Inle Lake and the ancient temples of Bagan, the country offers a unique charm that captivates visitors. The warmth and hospitality of its civilians, with their humble and sweet smiles, leave a lasting impression.
    💢However, it is deeply heartbreaking that the military regime has overshadowed this beauty with oppressive actions and devastating consequences for the civilian population. By exploiting state-owned lands and natural resources, often selling them to foreign powers like China, Russia, India, Thailand, and Singapore, the regime prioritizes its wealth and power over the well-being of its people and the preservation of Myanmar's heritage.
    This situation has resulted in widespread suffering, economic hardship, and a loss of freedom for many. The peaceful and kind-hearted people of Myanmar deserve a life of dignity, security, and prosperity, free from the chains of a corrupt regime. It is the hope of many that the resilience of Myanmar’s people will one day lead to a brighter and freer future.
    I believe, Myanmar/Burma will get freedom very soon. 💢💢💢

      Which will worsen because Norway and various Christian NGO’s are now proxifying the Kuki to carve out Chin State in Myanmar and other locations in Bangladesh and India to establish the Kuki Christian State of ‘Zo’ to replace the Rohingya Muslim State of ‘Rakhine’ to gain access to Shwe Gas Reserve.
      It’s all about Gas. Myanmar is on fire because the West wants to control the Shwe Gas reserve and all those ‘anti-Gov’ rebels just so happened to be fighting in the region where the pipeline exists.
      Syria collapsed for the same reason. Assad was loved up until 2012 when he said “no” to a ‘Sunni Pipeline’ connecting Qatar and Turkey. They tried to Arab Spring him out of power, when that failed they used IS*S. When that failed things went quiet from 2016 - 2023 but picked up again this year when Assad tried to join BRICS- Israel paid off generals to mutiny to prevent that.
      You will see the same problem in Sri Lanka, where the Mannar Basin contains Oil and Gas. India has already translated nearly 2 million Indian citizens into Sri Lanka, among whom contains intelligence operatives and Relgious nuts who are radicalizing Tamil Hindus and fomenting anti-Sinhalese anti-Buddhist hate. It would be long before a large reserve of oil and gas is found resulting in the Tamils suddenly waging another Elam war which India uses to finesse control over half the country, which they tried doing once already.
