Exactly. The 1.8 4b10 was used in lancers too! The chassis is still a lancer the heart is the same. Just bodykit and a badge is different. Rocking a debadged inspira with a evo bodykit isnt being fake. In fact its authentic to the soul of the car. A lancer. But to pay homage to mitsubishi I wouldnt put their badge on an inspira. Alot of people just dont know that the inspira is in its very essence a lancer

I wish to buy Lancer GT,but i have try them both..Proton Inspira is better, handling is smooth bcoz of Lotus handling,Suspension is suitable for malaysia road..The Lancer GT is fun but not suitable in Malaysia road..
I heard few Inspira owners said if want to travel in long distance the seat is not as comfortable as Lancer does,Usually they upgrade it to Lancer seat or custom racing seat like recaro etc,but i can't clarify this since i doesn't own a inspira but also wish to buy one someday 😅
Put mitsubishi bodykit and badges, act like lancer. But like other comments saying, this maybe even better than lancer in term of handling and suspension. Shouldnt be undermining proton brand..
