Mr Eichler thank you so much for uploading all these fascinating videos, especially recognising unsung talents like these three women. I will now endeavour to find out more about them. when I first started watching Mr Lowe interview, I, like many, was extremely irritated by his style of interviewing, but now I'm used to it, I really don't mind and his enthusiasm is evident. Once again, thank you. It's most appreciated. Merry Christmas.
Thanks. Jo Ann, as you can tell, was in the early stages of Alzheimer's, from which she eventually succumbed, but she was one of the sweetest people in the world and sang like a dream. Check out her great compilation CD on Jasmine. Annette is still performing today and has a two-CD compilation of Fresh Sound Records of her classic recordings from the 1940's and 50's. India has a good website, www.indiaadams.com and sells her private CD's.
I recently uncovered a recording of "Sincerely Yours" by Les Brown and Jo Ann Greer that is an outtake with a very funny and unexpected ending. I will be posting the song here on You Tube soon. Seeing Ms. Greer here you would never think she would sing what she sings on this recording!
These Three Gals were obviously so beautiful and talented in there day ! Competition was fierce those days, so to be asked to sing & dub for a " film " wasn't such a big deal. It paid the rent and possibly one more step up the ladder to there own personal dreams. It's kinda like an exposé ... One thing foreshore Ma sœr sera dans l'ìncrédulité...
Does Jo Ann Greer already have Alzheimer's in this clip? How MANY TIMES did she say that Rita Hayworth was "shy"???? I mean, Greer would NOT let go of that angle!?!?!?
Myles Garcia It's definitely part of it, I had older parents my mom has Alzheimers. She’d ask me 6 or 7 times if I was hungry within a few minutes after I had said no.
Thank you Alan, for putting this on youtube. It means a lot to me to be able to see her again. She'd be absolutely thrilled to see all these videos!
Thank you, Alan! and how great to hear you given greatly deserved credit. You're amazing.
Fabulous! Thank you again for posting such rare and fabulous content!

I feel bad for these women that they couldn't become famous in their own right back then.
Skip Lowe ruins every single interview
it should be spelled "Skippy"
How did he ruin this one?
@@jackjules7552 he’s rude, he interrupts, and he’s annoying
