- Ghent is a city and a municipality located in the Flemish region of Belgium. It is the capital and largest city of the East Flanders province. The city started as a settlement at the confluence of the Rivers Scheldt and Lys and in the Middle Ages became one of the largest and richest cities of northern Europe. Today it is a busy city with a port and a university.
The municipality comprises the city of Ghent proper and the surrounding towns of Afsnee, Desteldonk, Drongen, Gentbrugge, Ledeberg, Mariakerke, Mendonk, Oostakker, Sint-Amandsberg, Sint-Denijs-Westrem, Sint-Kruis-Winkel, Wondelgem and Zwijnaarde. With 240,191 inhabitants in the beginning of 2009,Ghent is Belgium's second largest municipality by number of inhabitants. The metropolitan area, including the outer commuter zone, covers an area of 1,205 km2 (465 sq mi) and has a total population of 594,582 as of 1 January 2008, which ranks it as the fourth most populous in Belgium The current mayor of Ghent.

@@nokohinokohi7521 I've been there a couple of times, not just seeing it on camera, and it definitely isn't a "trash can of a city". Quite the opposite. As someone else said, you only feel that way because you walk there everyday.

ik zie dat je nederlands bent ;) mooie drone shots heb je een tip gebruik vul ook je TAGS in eerste twee naam en plaats van je film , onder aan discription niet meer dan 3 a 4 tags , youtube weet niet waar hij je film moet plaatsen , naam van plaats en land en drone shot of zo

Great video as always ! Knowing the city by heart I think your wide angle lens sometimes creates a too spacious effect. It is an old medieval centre after all. Nevertheless it's the best film I ever saw on Ghent.

My secret is use a gimbal and do not shoot full auto mode with video , and shoot 30p with schutter 60 , 60p shutter 120 , use a ND if needed , and shoot LOG ( flat profile color ) you will have better colors and shadows and grade it your self ;) and do not pan al over the place with your camera 👍try to walk small steps , and stabilize all clips , have a great week , mark
