Just discovered this and it's spectacular. Been playing this song on the acoustic guitar for decades as it's been one of my favorite Rolling Stones songs forever. Your interpretation of it is excellent and it brings to life what a good song it really is. Fuzz bass is killer! Thanks for this.

On second listen, this is equal to the Stones original at least. Full of attitude and swing. I bought the original on the back of Street Fighting Man back in the day, probably my first 45 rpm. Always loved this obscure song. Thanks for reviving it.

I already decided to subscribe to your channel just on the single basis of your equally brilliant version of 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' I just came across, a little while ago while looking for something else - as one does!
Then intrigued as to why I have never ever come across your stuff before I browsed though your videos to quickly see you had also done 'Paint It Black'. So as it's one of my favourite Stones songs, gave it a watch.
Which I loved also. Your drumming on that is excellent by the way. Charlie would have loved it!
And now this - Child Of The Moon! It's just so rare to find anyone who even knows about this song who is not too old like myself, never mind to actually cover it. Your voice just suits this song so well as well, with it's long sustained, soaring up and down, singing notes.
I remember (late sixties) buying Jumpin' Jack Flash as the single - 45 rpm - on vinyl in 1968 shortly after it came out. And upon flipping it over to the other side was 'Child Of The Moon' of course. Which I was amazed with the first time I heard it. I used to love singing it outside everywhere!
Listening to your performance of this song just now lifted my heart the same way as on that day after I'd just bought Jumpin Jack Flash and wondering what the B side was going to be like. Now, just like then, I wasn't disappointed.
On the radio in those days all the 'pop / rock' stations frequently played Jumpin' Jack Flash' but only very rarely would any of them play Child Of The Moon, off it's flip side.
On Radio Luxemburg, which in the UK one could pick up and listen to in the evenings and through the night, they would play Jumpin' Jack Flash at least once every hour, for the first few weeks after it's release! Everyone loved it so much, the DJ's on the radio programmes included. It very quickly got to number one of course in the charts.
Anyway, back to the browsing through your videos and no doubt playing more of your incredible covers, and yep, you have a new fan! Subscribed also. Thanks much!
