Okay, lot to say here. This game was certainly my childhood. I played it since it came out, and I still play it every so often. You are right about the short campaign, it is absurdly short. But I do think that your relentless criticism about the multiplayer was undeserved. First, your analysis of some of the decepticon characters was downright inaccurate. The benefits of flight characters is greater speed, and Arial attacks (starscream in particular). Flight also adds the advantage of being able to retreat to high ground in an instant, and then fire from afar Second, Soundwave is an excellent character in this game. His short ranged attack blocks all projectiles, which you didn't mention. You probably don't know this, but his charged ranged attack goes through all walls in the game. You can hit someone on the other side on the desert or canyon map through all the terrain and obstacles for goodness sake. Third, you barely mentioned the massive differences between the Characters ranged attacks. Each has different properties. The game balances slow fire rates with higher damage, and vice versa. Examples of unique charged shots are: Arcee's homing shot, starscreams rocket barrage, soundwave's going through walls attack (see below), and arachnids webs immobilizing opponents. Fourth, starsceams is far from useless, as his rockets have the benefit of stunning opponents every hit. Arachnid similar, as she can float nearly infinitely if you jump high and hold the fire button. Also, her shots do a good deal of damage. Again, slow rate of fire compensated by high damage Fifth, you didn't mention that every attack combo does different things. A A A does the most damage, A B breaks sheilds, and A A B fills the upgrade meter faster. I almost question your claim of how much you have played the game based on your footage. Not only because your details and knowledge is way off, but also the fact that after all these years, you still take that much damage from the bosses? I beat the game again tonight, and each level took less than 500 damage total. Also, it's easy for me to beat the last Megatron battle without getting hit once. You just have to be precise enough and played the game for 9 years. 😉
@@j.j.plagiarisms7149 yeah I agree. I remember when I got this game I wanted the rest of the lot like Predaking, Wheel jack, Ultra Magnus etc. I've always wanted a second game from this series like: "Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters The Game." I wish hasbro can do something like that soon. Other than that I wish we could play as the whole lot of characters. Like the vehicons, insecticons, the tank vehicons, etc. I love this game, but I wish it lasted much longer.
I know I'm almost a year late on this, and I pretty much agree with you on this game in general including all the character breakdowns... except for Soundwave's. I gotta defend my boy Soundwave. Yes you can't move when he shoots, and yea his range is not that good, but his default blast attack is ment to be used to block vehicle charge attacks and blocks ranged attacks forcing your opponents to have to approach you which is what Soundwave wants. Up close Soundwave is a melee monster. After his standered combo, immediately transform, ram him with the jet boost, then his transforming spin attack, and while hes spinning charge you projectile, so when the opponent finally drops you can hit him for more damage. (AAA, X, B, A, Y(hold to charge), Release Y after opponent hits ground). This whole combo is a little tricky at first, but once you master it it's really damn good. Takes about 24-25% of your opponent's health bar, depending on the character, which is pretty damn good. Soundwave is alot better then he looks.
Yes the games, prime, rid, rescue bots and it sequel plus tie in comics. Not gonna lie it gets messy at times. Rise of the Dark spark only the Cybertron part is the aligned part, the movie parts and the ending aka G1 are on their own universe's.
I think it was really bad for continuity because War for Cybertron was supposed to be originally an origin for G1, but by the time Fall of Cybertron came out they saw the popularity of Prime and wanted to adapt what they had to fit that. Thats what I heard, anyway.
So the reason unicron wants the matrix of leadership destroyed was established in Transformers the movie, yes in a different universe but they have stuck with this concept ever since. But the matrix is the only thing that can destroy him.
I had the Ds version of the game. I liked using the good doctor bot and most arcee levels were hell. Also theres a racist joke i could make about y agent fowler isnt in the game buut... im not gonna do it.

Wut
Bro destroyed him
0:39 I suggest you give Bumblebee movie a chance. It was really good.
Great vid man on my favorite childhood game. However I think it deserves a 8/10 (biased btw) love your vids keep the great content up
My main problem was that it was too short.

The vehicle ram and vehicle jump were used in the console/PC port of Revenge of The Fallen.
Been looking for this game, where can I get it in this day and age ?
Vehicle jumping was introduced in 2009's TF Revenge of the Fallen game
I always thought this game took place in season 1.
Not possible, seeing as how Dreadwing didn't arrive on Earth until the sixth episode of Season 2.
@@christianwelch4206 Transformers Prime the Game is a continuity nightmare in my opinion, so I just said screw it and just gave up on try to fit it.
Actually, if we were to pretend that Starscream is Breakdown, replace Starscream with Breakdown and that should fix everything wrong with the game.
Which version is better wii or wii u??
They are the same version with better graphics
Wii U is far far better due the controls besides that and the graphics its the same game
Uh Transformers Prime was not on Cartoon Network it was On the Hub Channel before that Channel Changed to Discovery family.
Nds port?
Wait a second that’s a war for cyber Tron and fall Cybertron video games are in the same continuity as he aligned continuity does that mean
Yes the games, prime, rid, rescue bots and it sequel plus tie in comics. Not gonna lie it gets messy at times.

Acree said herself she did not land in Jasper she walked there in a daze
I had no idea there was a Transformers Prime video game. I watched the show a little bit when I was 12 or 13.
I think it was really bad for continuity because War for Cybertron was supposed to be originally an origin for G1, but by the time Fall of Cybertron came out they saw the popularity of Prime and wanted to adapt what they had to fit that. Thats what I heard, anyway.

Good job

That’s not really a forgotten game, but I’ll look into it.
I have to say this game is good but that Chapter 7 mission is the best in the game.
That’s a lie he didn’t said that
try to play it on pc emulator
I had the Ds version of the game. I liked using the good doctor bot and most arcee levels were hell. Also theres a racist joke i could make about y agent fowler isnt in the game buut... im not gonna do it.
It was also on the 3ds
Alright this game is really not good with graphics
