In the remake, they seem less passive aggressive towards you compared to the original. I feel like the developers wanted to look for a way to make you feel bad for them when they die.
In the original the cop with glasses gets thrown in the water and eaten by Del Lago, in the Remake the cop with the glasses gets tied and burned alive, in the original the cop with the mustache he gets burned alive. In the remake once you find him dead in the house later in the game you can tell his head was cut off and thrown in the water and eaten by Del Lago that’s the difference.
I mean to be fair they didn't really think some villager of isolated backwater in middle of nowhere can kidnap the US president daughter. I think they wanted to just escort Leon there, have a look around, realizing the whole premise was stupid and head back home.
@@satriadicky3732 Hell nah, the Spanish government would not waste that opportunity to have the US owe them one. They would send GEO and then some to pull her out. Or they'd work hand-in-hand with the CIA and SAD/GRS would 100% ice that entire village with little/no casualties, more so with GEO on their side.
The only thing I can mark the car crash for is that it makes no sense how one of the cops is already haven been burned at the stake in that fire when Leon took the direct route here, the same route the Ganados would've had to go to drag his body there
But it's a nice touch that in the three remakes the devs added more interaction with the secondary characters that will die anyways. Also the fact in the original they send Leon with two cops from Policía Nacional and in the second they are just two local cops from the local autonomy or province (near Santander?)
I’m not gone lie I liked them better when they were rude, not that this Take is bad but they were more memorable in the og. But honestly the disposable of the bodies is what really makes them memorable.
Honestly i feel like theyre more memorable characters jn general in this one, but they have more iconic lines in the original they dont even have names in the original and here they’re getting extra lines
That feel when you investigate a terror cell and the cops are supposed to be on your side but you quickly realize some of them if not all of them are a part of the terror cell and you're just like "....fucking hell."
This just clicked with me, there's no way they would have gotten the body that far ahead of us from where truck fell off the bridge. It makes more sense that another cop went a little too far in the village, made an alarming discovery and was murdered by the towns people maybe a few days before we arrive.
As far as I know the bearded cop is the one burning at the stake while the glasses one is thrown in the lake to the Del Lago. This is the general consensus among RE community, you can check all of this in the resident evil wiki.
@@graphics_travelersthe cop with the glass was the one burned alive in the remake, the mustached cop was the one who went way too deep into the village and was killed, he was decapitated and his body was fed to the del lago monster

They were more interactive in the original. Too bad the remake didn't give a dialogue to the cop with glasses when you approach him or when you go the opposite direction.
In the remake there alot of changes even the vehicle on original was a Range Rover and Remaster is a Jeep Cherokee if game base in Europe they should have keep it Land Rover version
No. The one that was fed to Del Lago was the older cop. We already knew what happened to the younger one since he was burned on a stick. The older one was fed to Del Lago.
Pretty stupid both cops. First leaving by himself to go check out without at least telling the others and the other for not going with Leon knowing taking that long to take a piss is not normal and something might really be wrong.

Even in the OG I still feel bad for them

exactly they switched their deaths
To bad they died so early in the game they seemed like great characters
Nahh, they seem reluctant in helping, if they’re, maybe they’ll be more alert, and dont end up the way they did
The Spanish government should have been sent GEO team instead of regular cops to escort Leon

I tink it's because of the secrecy of the mission.

As a Spaniard I can guarantee that the presentation of these Spanish police officers was very precise XD
I wish you could save the guy in the remake like he becomes your companion for a bit and like dies later on from the chainsaw man or smth

9.36 is the guy without a glasses, they feed the guy with glasses to the del lago.
I liked the remake cops, yeah common mistake of going alone, but again, he had to do that so Leon could go look for him.

Leon by like Wesker, wearing sunglasses when it's dark
Who wears sunglasses at night?
One of the cops in original was fed to the lake monster
Lmao, idk why leon wearing glasses looks like Robert Pattinson
More like Quicksilver for me.
Miss the old voice of these two

A Nissan Terrano could've been pretty fitting given the time and location
Darn so you can ring the bell early by shooting it but cant save one man bout to be burnt alive cause the fire starter is on creative mode.
Did they change them in the vr version as well? Maybe it's because they were in the beginning of the game but I remember them differently as well.
Leon Blind 😎
And cool hahah
Well i like re 4 OG atmosphere gloomy fall and not too dark,i already play remake but re4 remake ITS so good too im scared 😂 its so dark That's all..
At least their actually Spaniards instead of sounding like Mexicans helps make the setting of spain more immersive
Not sure why the officers in the remake don’t have handguns in their holsters.
They aren't allowed to have guns lol
Why is Leon wearing sunglasses in such a dark, foggy, gloomy forest? That seems out of place to me.
It's an accessory that you can put on him. Not there by default.
Wesker: 😎
