Tushan Jing's love truly radiates like sunrays , warming all it touches. Everyone Xiaoyao cares for will be cared for by Jing. While XY and XLiu's friendship somehow grew out of an abusive/toxic relationship , Shiqi and Wnxialiao's love blossomed out of genuine affection and kindness. XL can be a great friend but even he knows the kind of love XY deserves can only be given by Jing. Jing is so sincere he softened and convinced both XL and Cang Xuan several times. How YShiqi brings out WenXialiao's innate feminine desires. Such chemistry between them ! ❤❤

I am so glad the writer/author put Xiang Liu in this scene. Only he knows and understands what Xiaoyao is going through. Only he can help her understand demons and her situation more.
What a chemistry between them. Thusan Jing always understand her he support her mentally. In this era it's so tuff to get a men who will understand you'r pain , listen to all of your problems sorrow ,what you want.Xiaoyao choose the right person Tushan Jing , who will always put her first in every decision. Her grandfather is so nice to her he always protect her he always agree to her every choice. Xiangliu also a good friend he try to make her in good mood.

I really like the character of the grandfather in this. No matter what he was or did prior to retiring, he is now a great person as the grandfather. He speaks when he believes he needs to and keeps quiet when he finds it would do no good to interfere. What a wise grandfather. He knows Cang Xuan is obsessed with Xiaoyao and trying to be her hero, the only one she relies on etc... but other than trying to get him to support her w/o interfering in her life he cannot stop him. He wants Xiaoyao to be happy and tries to foster the things she wants in spite of Cang Xuan with his selfish dealings. He helped him to get where he is and has to deal with his quirky obsession over his cousin. He is very observant of them and knows them better than anyone else.
Yes, both the grandfather (King Xiyan) and father (King Haoling) are great in Lost You Forever (长相思). It's best if we don't think about the things they did in the prequel, Once Promised (曾许诺).

I skipped over the Jing scenes. I don’t dislike him. They didn’t make him interesting enough. Doesn’t matter, only came back for Xiang Liu. He gave all his lives for her.
Xinyue has always been spoiled, arrogant and evil. Her brother may try to get her to behave but she won't. She is so filled with hate and jealousy all the time and will vent on the innocent no matter the outcome.
Can tell she is a very easily jealous person and very calculative. Especially when Cang Xuan almost seem like he wasn’t going to get the throne. When one says they want status and love, it always follow with chaos. Partially to blame is Cang Xuan really. He made his romantic love for Xiao Yao too apparent. He should have hide it more until he could dispose of Xing Yue and his harem.
This drama is about how Jing's marriage was arranged, he didn't want to get married, then found his soulmate, couldn't get married. Then was plotted into getting married. Now that the plot is exposed he is waiting to get married. 😂😂😂

I don't like Xiang Liu because he's a blatant abuser. But Cang Xuan is more sinister, because of how he engineers his control though soft manipulation. He intends to isolate Xiao Yao by undermining her relationship with her father and leaving her himself as her only support system and attempts to sabotage her relationship with Jing. He cares not for the emotional harm that results, just as long as he gets what he wants. He is sick.
In our world story and time....there is chaos in all directions. Xiaoyao has said in her conversation with Xiang Liu , that she doesn't want to forgive her mother....which ...actually.... is an important revelation of the human spirit. Forgiving is easy when you WANT to.. Getting to that point of truly forgiving is a process of truthful introspection and an unwillingness to carry the burden of anger and pain for another moment.
My fav. Drama ended 😢 I knew since season 1 why it's called I lost you forever ! Because by the end of season 2 u will know cang xuan will tell her he got everything but he lost her ! And he didnt realize it until the end ! He succeeded in everything except for losing her forever It was really a sad ending for cang xuan 😢
So Cang Xuan intentionally raised those rumors so that the King of Haoling would disown her, and then he could raise a war at Haoling. Also, he made her take the surname Xiling because then only he could marry her right? If they had the same surname he can't marry her. But if her mother's surname is Xiling then whats her mother's relation with Xiyan?
I have a feeling that her mother was adopted. In some series when they need a princess the emperor would choose one and made her a princess hence grandpa kept saying my recognized granddaughter. I believe her mom was made princess to go to war but not by birth. I think that’s why XX said she is not a princess don’t call her that. I believe in this era, the children of the a born princess ate still considered princess/ princes.
I think early on, it was said her mother was a disciple of the grandmother. Basically, adopted into her family and took her surname. Grandma was a general back in her younger days. Xuan is the paternal grandson, so by blood through his father.
Spoiler Alert ‼️ I was desperately waiting for S2 but after watching up to 14 episodes and some short clips of upcoming episodes, I’ve lost interest in watching it more. Cuz the so called happy ending is not happy ending at all. Xiaoyao is selfish character. How can she be sồ unaware of the feelings of two main male characters( Xiangliu, Cang Xuan). The tragic death of XL is really very heartbreaking. He’s the most miserable and lonely character in this drama. And Cang Xuan, despite being a King, couldn’t even get what he wanted. He could see his childhood love ran away with someone else. Xiaoyao and Tushan Jung are my least favourite characters. I know people might criticise me. But at the end I’d like to ask what the drama title suggests ( Lost you Forever) who lost whom if the ending is happy???
@@dian2519I don’t think that is the case. In the book, Jing and her are the two main main leads. It’s called lost you forever because many people in the drama and book lost their loved ones and had to go through a lot.

Also, he made her take the surname Xiling because then only he could marry her right? If they had the same surname he can't marry her. I have a feeling that her mother was adopted. In some series when they need a princess the emperor would choose one and made her a princess hence grandpa kept saying my recognized granddaughter. I believe her mom was made princess to go to war but not by birth. I think that’s why XX said she is not a princess don’t call her that. I believe in this era, the children of the a born princess ate still considered princess/ princes.
Xiling is the surname of Xiaoyao’s maternal grandma
I think early on, it was said her mother was a disciple of the grandmother. Basically, adopted into her family and took her surname. Grandma was a general back in her younger days. Xuan is the paternal grandson, so by blood through his father.

I was desperately waiting for S2 but after watching up to 14 episodes and some short clips of upcoming episodes, I’ve lost interest in watching it more. Cuz the so called happy ending is not happy ending at all. Xiaoyao is selfish character. How can she be sồ unaware of the feelings of two main male characters( Xiangliu, Cang Xuan).
The tragic death of XL is really very heartbreaking. He’s the most miserable and lonely character in this drama. And Cang Xuan, despite being a King, couldn’t even get what he wanted. He could see his childhood love ran away with someone else.
Xiaoyao and Tushan Jung are my least favourite characters. I know people might criticise me.
But at the end I’d like to ask what the drama title suggests ( Lost you Forever) who lost whom if the ending is happy???
XiaoYao lost XiangLiu forever. They’re the actual leads of the show.
@@dian2519I don’t think that is the case. In the book, Jing and her are the two main main leads. It’s called lost you forever because many people in the drama and book lost their loved ones and had to go through a lot.
