This is such an epic song, and amazing with determined and powerful female characters in ancient greek sagas, Circe is a Mistress 😍 Well portrayed both of you for your respective character ^_^ But I mean, this is an amazing song in its own right, but also an amazing build up for "There are other ways", sooo....??? 🙏🤩🙏
Epic is a musical based on the odyssey and is split into sagas. It's far from finished and starts with the Cyclops saga and the latest is the underworld saga. The events are that of odyssey but the musical has a slightly different interpretation of Odysseus. Epic Odysseus is more of a modern hero and is just trying to survive and get to his wife and kid and is terrified unlike odyssey Odysseus who chases glory essentially in ancient Greece mythology the more gods who noticed you either good or bad the more glory you had. Epic does have a few key differences though such as creating a conflict with Athena and the circe saga which gives circe more agency and Odysseus is not coerced into having sex with her. It's faithful but has a few twists which is fascinating to watch and is a faithful adaptation of the odyssey which was created to be performed never read. Sorry for the ramble David lol
